Food establishments serving liquor in addition to selling food is another way to increase revenue within the restaurant. Some customers will come in to have appetizers and drinks while watching their sports team play. Some will come in and have a business party or a large gathering or friends or coworkers to celebrate success for a special occasion and these are the customers that are more open to buying alcoholic beverages. This leads to why owners or restaurants want to buy alcohol because it is something that is socially excepted when spending leisurely time with friends or just trying to relax from a long day at work. Majority of establishments that sale alcohol makes a large part of the revenue from these sales. Choosing a vendor is something that is very cost effective and important to a place that is to sale food or alcoholic beverages. When finding the right vendor you will be able to create a great relationship and be able to get great prices. The hard part is fining a vendor that has good prices with quality. One rule of thumb is buying alcohol that is accepted but not on the high end but not on the low end. When customers get cheap alcohol that makes it so they are not going to want to buy from that establishment. But if a customer is not able to afford that alcohol because it is on the high end, then customers will not come in to spend their money. They would rather spend their money somewhere else. Being able to land in the middle, with a popular but cheap beverage is what customers and owners are looking to do. They want to get the best of both worlds.
Alcohol prices can change from one quarter to another. The prices of alcohol can be driven by popularity, such as what celebrity is to be sponsored by a certain kind of vodka, or what kind of vineyard is to be
