 Using Social Media to recruit, social networking has become a frequent source for applicants, which has resulted in cost savings for employers because it is a low or no cost option for finding candidates. Generation X-ers and Millennials will most likely only use the Internet to look for new position. While social media continue to increase its role in recruitment, traditional offline method of recruiting may slowly diminish; as these may be replaced by similar online events such as Group chat or conferencing on social media. Example: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter.
 Considering recruiting Part time employees, Contract workers & Consultant: As we have discussed earlier in our class how there has been an increase use of contingent workers in workforce. The fast-moving, technologically dynamic global economy has forced companies to think about work in modular, every shifting ways. Organizations that can adapt, change and innovate quickly have an advantage. Contingent employment can facilitate this change for both employees and employers.
 Employment Branding:
If the organization is going to compete for the best talent available, having an employment brand is really important. In today’s media- driven world its important what is written or said about the organization, this means the need to actively keep the company’s website up-to date with announcement of their success, new product , great employees. Being good community citizen is another way to enhance employment brand. Consistency is the key to successful employment brand.
 Video Interviewing:
The new norm of recruitment. A great way to examine a candidate in a cost effective way without creating too many barriers.
