Rite of passage refers to as the occasion or an event that classifies an individual to have transition from on stage of life to another. This activity encompasses Clitoridectomy, rite, Circumcision and infibulations. It is valued, treasure within the community, and is normally commemorated or rather celebrated through performance of fork dance and song to entice the entire event. Rite is classified into different distinct form namely territorial passage whereby a person is required to go by certain set formalities. The other types of rites are childbirth and the period during of pregnancy.
