J.R. Egan’s article “Hey, Dude!” Discusses how in his 19 years of experience as a professor, he has witnessed a decrease in appreciation from his students because college professors have witness negative attitudes, rude behavior within college students. Additionally I don’t think Egan is over-generalizing in his description of college students because he talk about how students have priotrized their work, curricular activities have taken over their college education because every time college students always have an excuses when it comes to missing class and assignments. However from my own experience I always witness college students skip classes because they always have excuses such as being tired, don’t feel like coming to class
