My name is Keaira Williams, I am seventeen years old. I am from a small town called Selma North Carolina. Let me me tell you all about the time I was 14 years old, in the 9th grade. This where everything hit me at once . I met this boy named Jarvis and that's when it happened. I stopped doing my schoolwork and started focusing on him. We met one day I was moving and I texted and said “hey I just saw you outside”. He replied back with “no you didn't”. We had a long conversation. Then eventually we started talking for like about five months, and we started dating. This is where all the problems started, we thought we were cousins so we stopped talking for a while. All of a sudden we found out that we was not cousins, so we started dating and hanging out. Being with him was amazing some days and awful some days as well. Jarvis and I was together for three- four years. I lost a whole lot dealing with him. He caused a lot of drama and chaos, he was flirtatious, and out of control. I started to hang around the wrong crowd and get into trouble a lot at home and school. I was always in “In school suspension”, being in there I could never get my work done and pass my test. This also caused me to lose everything that I had good coming for me. With all of these things being said, this caused me to come Tar heel Challenge Academy. I arrived at this place on January 6th 2018. Coming here I have learned a lot. With learning a lot I have made a lot of friends and lost a lot of friends. I have learned how to control my attitude, have discipline and structure. I only have a few friends now, but I don't let that stop me from grinding and
