* Tutankhamen died young, at around 18 years of age. However, his cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Did he die of an injury, of illness, or was he murdered?

King Tutankhamen was a young when he became king he was about eight years old. Since the new king was so young the commander of the army Horemheb ruled for him while he was growing up. Someone else important helped him also a man named
Ay. When King Tut became king he was already married to his queen Ankhenpaaten which was his half-sister. Back then they liked to keep all the power in the family so that it was hard for anyone to gain power and royalty. The main job for the young king was to keep the country stable and to make sure that everyone was safe by keeping the army ready to defend his country. King Tut also had to keep the gods happy that is why he had help from Horemheb and Ay. (Hawass, 2005) What I think happened to King Tutankhamen? Everyone is still trying to figure that out. According to the National Geographic Center King Tut could have died of a possible disease, but there is no evidence of that death. Some say that he was murdered because of some old x rays that shows a place in the back of this skull that might be damage of a blow. 2005 a CT scanner was done on the mummy of King Tut what they found out is that Tutankhamun did not die from a blow to the head, and there was no foul play on the mummy. They could not tell anything from the stomach or the intestines because they were taken out of the body and stored separately. What I think happened to him is that someone very close to him betrayed him, and that he was murdered because he was so young and he had two people doing his job already. I feel like Horemheb and Ay was in on setting him up to be killed because not long after King Tut died Horemheb became king afterwards. (Hawass, 2005)
I’m guessing that they figured they was running things for him anyway that they might as well get him out of the picture. Either way scientist are saying before he died that he was hurt before he died. He had nobody he was the only child they were the only ones that King Tut had trusted and they knew his every move, and Horemheb was thee head of the army so I think they set it up pretty easy.

Leadership Assessment

...MGMT 615 Leadership Assessment Mary M. McMurrin University of Maryland University College Final Paper In order for someone to be an effective leader, one would have to bestow certain skills and characteristics or some can be obtained over a period of time. Various assessments and questionnaires are designed to measure and give insight on certain skills or traits an individual may have. Some of those assessments include the skills inventory, leadership trait questionnaire, style questionnaire, leadership questionnaire, least preferred coworker, path goal, LMX, and the authentic leadership self-assessment. By conducting these questionnaires and assessments, not only are the skills defined, but the strengths and weaknesses of leaders are also exposed. This will allow leaders to have a better understanding of themselves and why they interact with others the way they do. The primary findings that were concluded while completing the assessments were that I have more human skills than technical skills. This was made evident during the style questionnaire, which measures leadership behaviors of task vs. relationship. The majority of my responses, and co-workers responses, proved that I display an emphasis on relationship driven type skills. The leadership trait questionnaire, which measures the personal characteristics, proved that I have the skills to be articulate, friendly, sensitive, and empathic...

Leadership Assessment

...INTRODUCTION “Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” (Peter F.Drucker) As the statement clearly described, Leadership is not about the way people doing things but about how people perceive things. In another way, leadership is much more abstract than management; it also involves a lot in human characteristics. Great leaders do not just lead; they bring out the best in everybody else too – and that’s how they consider right thing to do. To understand more about leadership, I have chosen Phan Xuan Canh as a target for my leadership research. He is currently the Project team leader of Project Zaru.vn – a project of online real estate information. Having a business concept in mind, he founded a team and started running project Zaru.vn which will become a company when the product is launched. The project only started from March 2010 and has gone through many problems. Being the team leader, Canh is responsible for planning activities, communicating with partners, seeking advises and dealing with problems of a starting business. The reason I chosed Canh is because despite he just graduated from University and do not have many experiences, he did a good job as a leader to make the project run through 5 months of hardship. Two main purposes in this research are: - Analysing Canh’s leadership through leadership traits and behaviours, contingency and situational leadership. - Reflecting on how to improve leadership style using the analysises above. The methods...

Leadership Self-Assessment

...According to the “Leadership Self-Assessment” my leadership style is transformational and charismatic (Media.capella.edu, 2015). The “transformational leadership theory-assume the fact that people will follow a person who inspires them, a person with vision and passion who can lead them in the wright direction, and can help them achieve great things” (Alina, 2013, p. 210). The major premise of the charismatic leadership theory is “beliefs imparted to followers” (Media.capella.edu, 2015). I believe the leadership characteristics most dominant for me are those of the transformational leader: “charismatic, inspirational, role model, enabler” (Media.capella.edu, 2015). Leadership Self Assessment

...After reviewing the findings, I would agree the evaluation from the exam. I personally scored a 75 which puts me in the good leader’s category. I would like to think I am a good leader but at with little experience leading large teams I cannot know for sure. However I do agree with the recommendations given by the exam on how to improve my leadership skills. The exam showed I scored low in self-confidence and my positive outlook towards my leadership. I have always been very comfortable with over confident leaders. This is why I have tend not to give absolute answers, even if I am sure I am correct. According to McKinney (2012) a good leader needs courage, and courage means facing conflict even at the risk of great personal thoughts. In the future I can use this advice, I can be sure of my knowledge and give people certainty. I am not among the majority, skeptical of those who are willing to conclude their decisions with little thought, to be sure of their response even knowing they may possibly be wrong, but I need to learn to project this confidence if I am to be a leader. People need to know their leader is sure about the decisions they make. It shows strength....

Comprehensive Self Assessment of Leadership

...Self Analysis of Leadership Style Stephen R. Covey once said “We immediately become more effective when we decide to change ourselves rather than asking things to change for us.” A manager should assess themselves regularly, just as they do with their employees. My name is Jane Doe, and I currently manage a team of highly intelligent computer programmers at a rural telecommunications company. I assess myself and my team in the interest of providing the best service to my company and team. One assessment I used recently was the “Seven Habit’s Profile.” This profile measures the following areas: Emotional Bank Account, Life Balance, Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Synergize and Sharpen the Saw. The scoring landed me squarely in the “very good” range, but a couple areas that stood out to me were Seek First to Understand and Think Win-Win. These are areas that are indicative of my leadership style. The style I most closely represent is Transformational Leadership. The ability to understand others, supports the transformational leadership style by making a leader aware of others’ needs, something which is needed when inspiring change. “Thinking win-win”, also supports this style by finding areas where both parties benefit; making change easier and more productive. Taking the Seven Habits Profile highlighted some of my strengths and weaknesses in relation to the Transformational Leadership style. “Transformational...
