In an article advertising MagnaSoles from The Onion that mocks an advertisement of a product, known as Magnasoles, in order to prove how gullible consumers of these type of products are Consumers, can be so easily persuaded to buy products in an advertisement even with how hyperbolized these type of advertisements are. When consumers are being told that “ only MagnaSoles utilize the healing power of crystals to restimulate dead foot cells with vibrationals feedback,” they don’t realize how much of an exaggeration these facts are with the pseudoscience.All in all, many advertisements are similar to one another by having the same over exaggerated features, for example: the overly happy tone of the spokesperson, and cheesy consumer reviews.
