Personal Narrative: Three Things People Need To Know About Me

...Three things people need to know about me are that I am a sweet caring person, do not like drama, and like to be to myself. All of these things tell something about my personality, what I basically do on my spare time, and what keeps me relax from a lot of things in life. I am sweet, caring person. I will give someone my last if I have it. Giving my kindness to someone means God is going to bless them. I can remember a time where our family took family trip to Pensacola, Florida, one spring. We had a wonderful time until I saw a homeless man lying down on the sidewalk. I always felt sorry for some people that live that way. So as I saw the man lying on the sidewalk I gave him five dollars. It was enough for him to buy a meal, and it was my last. I felt so good after I gave that man my blessing. Regardless if people are wealthy, they should give someone their last if they have it. I have a kind heart. But sometimes people might take me for granted because of how sweet I am....

Fahrenheit 451 Deficit Analysis

...deficits of the people from Fahrenheit 451 are lack of communication, lack of education, and lack of common sense. There are many possible ways to solve this problem. The way to come up with a solution is to start of easy with everyone. To begin, everyone in the city are able to try upon their skills and knowledge. Then, based on how much they know already, they will be given many tasks for themselves. For example, if someone has never read anything in their life they will be given help for them to begin. Having everyone work at their own pace is more effective than giving people sets of things to do. They will be able to learn and understand more than going at an unsteady pace. In the Army communication is vital because, they need to be able to instruct others on what to do; they need to be able to talk to each other throughout the job, the Army communicate through various ways such as hand signals, radio etc... If the Army did not communicate within the job they would not perform the job well; no one would know exactly what they were doing therefore the job would more than likely become very confusing. For example, if there was a conflict that begun and not one of the work colleagues communicated no one would know what job/position they are meant to be taking, therefore the job would become a shamble and would not be completed correctly, this is why communication is very important in the Army. In the Police communication is also vital as they need to know what is expected from them, if Police did not communicate then crimes that were committed would not be solved, therefore it would make the Police force looked very unsuccessful. For example, if Police received a phone call from a distressed person because their house had been burgled and police officers did not radio through, then the crime would not be solved, this is why communication is very important in the Police force. Communication has good and bad points, some good points are: Being able to communicate over a large distance, this is vital in the Army and Police as both forces work in a very large distance of one another. Effective Communication with Children

...Effective communication with children, young people and families Good communication is central to working with children, young people, families and carers. It helps build trust, and encourages them to seek advice and use services. It is key to establishing and maintaining relationships, and is an active process that involves listening, questioning, understanding and responding. You should always communicate with them appropriately to match the stage of development, personal circumstances, and needs of the person you’re talking to.   It is important to be able to communicate both on a one-on-one basis and in a group. Communication is not just about the words you use, but also about the way you’re speaking and your body language. You need to feel and show empathy and sincerity, and above all, listen. You need to take account of culture and context. For example, you need to be aware and communicate appropriately if English is an additional language, or the child is disabled or at risk of under-achievement or other poor outcomes.  Effective communication extends to involving children, young people, their parents and carers in the design and delivery of services and decisions that affect them. It is important to consult the people affected and consider opinions and perspectives from the outset. Another crucial element of effective communication is developing trust between the workforce and children, young people, parents and carers – as well as within different sectors of the workforce...

Given these points, if someone asked you, “what is the weather?” or, “did you hear about this happening?” would you know? In addition, just like how some people ask you this, you need to know how to communicate with other Americans too....
