This was it, this was the day. The day we had prepared for for the past 8 weeks, I was sure we were prepared, (Or as prepared as you can be for a 24 hour play competition.) The goal of the day: work with our team to develop and create a 10 minute play, and perform it the next day. On top of this, we would be required to incorporate a prop, and the first and last line of the play would be given to us. My team, a private theater group called Courtyard Theater, consisted of 9 young thespians, 7 tech crew, and of course, our beloved director and writer Today was the night, and we were raring to go, as soon as we got there, we rushed to the costume shop, grabbed our gear, and left.
