...Would you like it if Christmas break was shortened. No, you would not and if you can't think of many reasons I'll help you Clause I got a list and I'm checking it twice and its big Santa that I talk to the Christmas break gingerbread party poopers (the schools district) about it. Christmas break is where you can put your mind on hold were you can be far far from the time limits of an overdue book or a bad test grade, from the fears of falling asleep in class due to not the full 8 or at least 6 hours of sleep. Many kids fail test due to lack of sleep trust me i've seen a few kids in my class sleeping teachers might be mad or a little mad but i think it perfectly normal i mean it's ok to be a little annoyed. When Christmas break comes you can...

...It’s like he picked me out from the crowd. Made me some type of target. For what? Does he not realize what he does? Does he not realize the effects his gazes or stares do to me? How paralyzing his words can be. I hate people who pity others. I hate pretentious people who look at others and think that they are better! Who are you to judge me, my life, and my behavior? I don’t go out to every party, so what? Does that make me sad and pathetic? Did you ever wonder that maybe I’m just not a party person? A party pooper is what you could call me. Just because I’m not out every night with friends, drinking and partying, does that make me a loner? It’s not everyone who is built like that. Some people are loud, talkative, very outgoing and yet some are quiet, composed, soft-spoken, something I could simply put as too chilled. They are not all over the place, they take their time as if they have all the time in the world. So what are they? Are they a mistake in creation? Were they never supposed to have been there in the first place? Is it better if they weren’t? Is that it? It doesn’t mean they don’t want to have fun, it doesn’t mean they don’t want to go out, because they do! Is it wrong sometimes that they like their own company, is it wrong that sometimes they prefer to curl up with a book by their side and watch TV at the same time? And maybe, have a cat as company? I know what you must think. Aren’t those the people that end up being 50, grey and old, never been married and living...

...* Many thing’s make this the pivotal scene in the play, firstly the transition from the green world back toward reality, this is shown through a skeptical Aguecheek as he says “all is done”, but Toby insists that he and Aguecheek are not only awake at an "early" morning hour, but they also go to bed after midnight, which means they also go to bed "early”. This may link to the green world of carnival were no sleep and all night parties are part of the celebration however sir Andrew may be signaling the turning pointy and the end of carnival is near as he says “to be up late is to be up late” showing his rejection of the timelessly fun green world acknowlging natures bringing to an end the timeless fun. * Sir Andrew pipes up that all he and Toby ever really do is eat and drink, so Toby calls for another round of booze. Then Feste turns up and they greet each other by saying things like "Youths stuff will not endure”, feste always has a somber tone to his songs and this one has a element of foreshadowing of the future in the new world and the marriage were growing up has to occur and “youth” in the green world comes to an end. * Toby and Aguecheek give Feste a few more coins and demand a love song, which Feste obliges. The trio continue to fool around, singing and talking, much of it nonsense when Maria enters and tells them to pipe down before Olivia kicks them out. * Maria's chiding doesn't do any good, so Malvolio runs in to lecture them. Don't they have any sense...

Substance abuse is one of the problems that the United States have. ...Running head: Observation of TGI Friday’s Observation of TGI Friday’s Psychology of Human Sexuality – PSYC 332 6380 University of Maryland University College Alicia Montague July 12, 2015 The TGI Friday’s is located not too far from my job. I have never dined at that particular location before, but heard from several people that it is a very lively on Friday’s. I figured TGIF on a Friday should be interesting. As I turned off of the main road I can see the huge TGIF sign reassuring me that I was heading in the right direction. The exterior of the building is really nice. Perfectly manicured lawn, shrubs, trees, and patches of yellow and purple flowers surrounds the brownish taupe structure. There are also several red and white stripped awnings all around the building, except the one by the main entrance, which is black with a red and white TGIF sign. I found a parking space not too far from the entrance. Above the entrance doors is a stripe that says “In Here, It’s Always Friday". I pulled open the F-shaped handles on the door and walked in. As soon as I entered TGIF I was greeted by an elderly woman who offered me a menu and asked how many people would be seated. I accepted the menu and told her that I would prefer to sit in the bar area, so she told me to pick any seat I desired. I usually prefer to sit in booths, but for the purpose of this research, I decided it would be best if I was seated at the high top table in the corner, which gave me a view of the entrance...

...Drumm, Nicholas White and Morne Swiegers (2016) all of whom work as Consulting managers in Deloitte, a company under which various professionals combine for research, they say that around 9% Australians still have mobile phones without internet. Mobile phones have blurred the lines between personal and public life and made people more open to the world. The Smartphone market is increasing rapidly and is overtaking each and every field from dating to ordering food, from shopping to chatting with friends; each and every aspect of life is now having an influence from smartphones as these are digitizing human lives and making them easier. Steven Spielberg said “Technology can be our best friend, and technology can also be the biggest party pooper of our lives. It interrupts our story, interrupts our ability to have a thought or a daydream, to imagine something wonderful, because we're too busy bridging the walk from the cafeteria back to the office on the cell phone”. It is clear that no one can overlook the benefits of smartphones and the way it has changed the society as a whole and become a worldwide phenomenon without which life seems incomplete. Survey conducted by Leonid Miakotko in The impact of smartphones and mobile devices on human health an claimed that 100% people (10 out of 10) aged between 17 – 54 years on which the survey was conducted would not leave their smartphone and same number of people said that they would think that it is weird if someone does not has a mobile...

...Halloween Party Pooper Is Halloween really worth spending hours upon hours getting ready and walking door to door just for candy? Well, by personal experience, going trick or treating is not worth the outcome by any means. -- I was ten minutes away from finishing my mime makeup before heading over to my friend, Emily, to go trick or treating. As I made the triangular shape around my eye with black eye makeup, my hand shook vigorously due to my nerves. I did not know why I was so nervous, but I knew that I befouled my makeup. So I had to wash that section of my face off with some noxious soap and water, and use my really expensive white base makeup again. The makeup I used for this costume cost more than a huge box of candy from Costco. It...

...The term ‘globalization’ in the most basic level can mean the globalization of international trade, however it is also expansion of foreign direct investment (FDI), multinational corporations, integration of the world capital markets and much more. Thus, globalization can be defined as the interdependence of national economies through trade, finance, production and a growing web of treaties and institutions. The evidence of globalization is clear. Nowadays, over $4 trillion in foreign exchange transactions are made every day, where more than $15 trillion of goods and $3.7 trillion of services are sold across national borders. A more intuitive example can be a British person driving the German car with a Dutch engine that was assembled in Mexico from made in US components, which in turn, were fabricated from Korean steel. But what influenced the trend for globalization? This essay will outline two main macro factors that helped globalization to evolve. It will then pass on to describing four major features of globalization. To begin with, the globalization was driven by the decline in barriers of the free flow of goods, services and capital that has occurred since the end of the Second World War due to the GATT arrangements. This resulted in significant fall in average tariff rates since 1950 that are now at a 4% level leading to steady growth of international trade over the last half of the century, when by 1998 it was three times more than it was in 1950. In addition, many...

...Marketing Mix Crystal Watson MKT/421 February 6, 2013 Brandon Miller University of Phoenix Marketing Mix Marketing is a commonly misrepresented term in today’s business environments. Some organizations and most individuals believe marketing is just about sales and advertising. Often times having such a vague understanding of marketing can determine the success or failure of an organization. In fact, marketing is a much more complex subject and area of business. Known as the four P’s, the marketing mix is a set of four decisions that an organization must make before launching a new product or service. The marketing mix consists of four elements: Product, Place, Price, and Promotion (University of Phoenix, 2011).These four elements work together to assist in making the strategic decisions necessary to ensure a smooth introduction of a product or service. An organization must have a thorough understanding of these four elements as each play a key role when developing an organization marketing strategies and tactics. The pet industry is a steadily rising niche business sector. Climbing up to $50.82 billion in 2011 from $23 billion in 2000, makes the pet industry a hot topic for entrepreneurs and pet lovers alike. Although the pet industry continue to see an increase in revenue, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) American households owned 2 million fewer dogs at the end of 2011 than at the end of 2006 (U.S Pet Ownership & Demographics Sourcebook)...

...Logan 1 Emily Logan Mr. Sgrignoli CHY 4U1 6 June 2014 TITLE Although Adolf Hitler is often credited as the Twentieth Centuries most evil man, there are others who could easily be seen as equally sharing this assumption. Undoubtedly, Hitler was an extremely evil man and was responsible for the deaths of millions of people during his time in power in World War Two, however there are other past world leaders who were responsible for the deaths of many more people. Through examining Joseph Stalin, the dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics from 1929-1953, and Mao Zedong, the chairman of the Communist Party of China from 1945-1976, it is clear that Hitler cannot accurately hold the title of being the most evil man in history. Adolf Hitler was born on April 20 in the small Austrian town of Braunau. In his early years Hitler excelled at school and was admired for his leadership qualities (history.com), however when he reached high school he found the work to be much more difficult. When Hitler was fifteen years old he failed his exams and was informed he would need to repeat that school year. Stubbornly, Hitler refused to continue with his education and dropped out of school. When he was eighteen years old his father, Alois Hitler, passed away. Hitler used the money he Logan 2 inherited from his later father to move to Vienna in hopes of pursuing a career in the arts. He applied to the Vienna Academy of Art and the School of Architecture, to which he was both...

...THE AFTERLIFE Bailey Miller Cultural Anthropology Dr. Su Il Kim December 1, 2014 In many cultures there is the idea of religion and its ever changing. Even in similar faiths, such as all the derivatives of Christianity, there is variation in their beliefs. In Roman Catholicism their belief in salvation and the afterlife is that it must be earned by being part of the church community, basically meaning that a Roman Catholic would only gain entry into the afterlife if they attended church [Stewart]. In Baptist churches they believe that only those who believe, who have been baptized and also believe Christ is their savior may enter the afterlife [Buschart]. On the other hand there are the non-Christians, sometimes referred to as pagans; though in this age the term is more used for polytheists who aren’t Hindu believers or ancestral worshipers. In my own religious beliefs, Wicca, the afterlife varies based on the god or goddess being followed. In Greek based Wicca there is an afterlife and depending on how your soul acts in that life varies on where you’ll be sent [Marks]. In Cherokee following paganism, how my mother follows, they do not believe in a literal place like heaven but more that when a person dies they go on as ghosts, wandering the earth [The Tradition Belief System]. Then there are the non-theistic groups like agnostics and atheists. Agnostics tend to vary from person to person on death and the afterlife so it’s hard to tell what they believe [Agnostics]. Atheists...
