The main reason people want privacy is for protection. People want walls, borders, or anything else to protect what they have or know. Something that threatens personal privacy is the government, or government organizations. The government is continually invading our online privacy. Privacy is a very important value among people. We protect things we don’t want people to have or know, such as our personal information, houses, valuable items, etc. People in Beowulf also valued their privacy.
