When visiting the Reynolda House I encountered many beautiful pieces of art work. However, I only chose three pieces that really stuck out to me. The first piece I chose was a bronze sculpture called A Thing of Beauty, the second piece was an oil painting on wood called The Whipping and the last piece was a portrait of Georgia O’Keeffe. Each piece has is beautiful in different ways considering the first is a 3D sculpture, the second is an oil painting and the other is a photograph. This paper will focus on my description of each art piece.
The first piece of art that I found was by Robert Ingersoll Aitken in 1910 called A Thing of Beauty. When looking at the sculpture you see a bronze women who is naked and posed standing up with her legs …show more content…
When describing this piece, I would say that it is an oil painting on a piece of wood that is framed with wood. There are two men in the painting, one of them is holding a whip and the other is standing in the back-ground smiling. The man holding the whip has a long beard but it doesn’t show what he is about to hit and the man in the back-ground is wearing a hat. They are both wearing black and white. There are wood buildings in the back-ground with a blue sky and white clouds hovering over them, the ground is red and black. The painting is not realistic, it almost looks like a cartoon. I think the artist is trying to give us the feel that it was a long time ago and it is very mysterious. The guy in the back ground is telling the guy with the beard to hurt someone or something nut the picture does not show us what it is. They are not well off in the picture, they don’t have a lot and they work hard for what they do have. The elements and principles of design that this piece has is, line, shape, color, texture, balance, emphasis, and movement. Line is used a lot in this piece, all the lines that separate each piece of wood on the buildings, and all the clouds, people and buildings are out lined. This uses shape because all of the brown pieces of wood are rectangles and there are different shapes throughout the piece. Color is used on the whole piece, different colors and different shades of the colors are being used. Texture is used because the way the oil comes off the wood gives it a rough texture. Balance is very important in this piece because the clouds and the people off set each other to balance it out, the people are more to the left and the clouds are to the right. Emphasis is used but the focal point being on the guy with the whip. Also, movement is used in the piece, the guy holding the whip back shows that it is moving and that he is moving. The oil painting is nice

Bloodlines of the Illuminati

...Bloodlines of Illuminati by: Fritz Springmeier, 1995 Introduction: I am pleased & honored to present this book to those in the world who love the truth. This is a book for lovers of the Truth. This is a book for those who are already familiar with my past writings. An Illuminati Grand Master once said that the world is a stage and we are all actors. Of course this was not an original thought, but it certainly is a way of describing the Illuminati view of how the world works. The people of the world are an audience to which the Illuminati entertain with propaganda. Just one of the thousands of recent examples of this type of acting done for the public was President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address. The speech was designed to push all of the warm fuzzy buttons of his listening audience that he could. All the green lights for acceptance were systematically pushed by the President’s speech with the help of a controlled congressional audience. The truth on the other hand doesn’t always tickle the ear and warm the ego of its listeners. The light of truth in this book will be too bright for some people who will want to return to the safe comfort of their darkness. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with real facts, not theory. Some of the people I write about, I have met. Some of the people I expose are alive and very dangerous. The darkness has never liked the light. Yet, many of the secrets of the Illuminati are locked up tightly simply because secrecy is a way...
