In the Fictional story Frostblood, Elly Blake uses tone, characterization, and themes to portray the intensity of sacrifices you need to make in war. First off a common theme in the story is revenge may be sweet, but it can also be sour. Ruby’s mother was killed by Captain Drake right in front of her, as a result, she won’t stop until she gets her revenge. But when her opportunity arises in the arena the sinsation is not all she thought it would be. “Her father was gone, along with the money he earned for bread.
