Stories speak to us in different ways. The story that spoke to me the most was “The Scarlet Ibis” by James Hurst. I will remember this story over others because of the feelings it gave me. I relate to Doodle and how he was treated badly by his brother at times and how he felt like he was singled out. It also just speaks to me because of how, in the end, Brother finally realized that he should’ve been protecting his brother but it was too late.
