In a playing soccer ball, the two types of frictional force are applied between the soccer balls with grass. As the soccer ball is static at the grass, it keeps the ball from moving until a kicking force is first applied. The kinetic friction involves as a soccer ball is kicked along the grass surface. When the ball is moving along the field, there is constantly frictional force acting against the ball’s movement. It is due to the electromagnetic forces between charged particles of the grass and the skin of the soccer ball rubbing against each other which constitute the surfaces in contact.The rough grass surface slows down the movement of ball and causes it stops.
