SR-rm-022 Part 1

Riordan Manufacturing is a fortune 1000 company, who is over seen by Riordan Industries. Riordan Plastic, Inc. was started in 1991, then changed to Riordan Manufacturing in 1993. Riordan employs 550 workers to oversee the company’s production of several plastic products. To supply a wide range of products to their very differently associated cliental. This is done through four prime locations, three of which are located in the US and the other is in China.
Continuing with an overview of the Riordan’s works and future interests for the companies’ goals. They are constantly working a top of the line research and development team to adapt and create new solutions for customer’s wants and needs. Aiming to assist and not hinder their clients, hoping for long term relationships that benefit both parties equally. The focus to stay on top of the industry is brought on by keeping knowledgeable employees and great quality products for their partners.
This is why a successful Human Resource system is so vital to the companies’ abilities to run optimally. There are a few things to consider when attempting to make changes on a large scale for a company. A request for adapting the existing human resource system and adding the ability for new and more efficient system to run in aid of the company. An initial step is to look at stakeholders and who’s input to take into account for these system changes. Riordan works with a combination of large and small customers that have high and low needs. They work with approximately 30-40 main customer groups, which is on the higher side for major customers that they deal with in terms of needs. It would be fair to say that the key stakeholders would be there 30-40 customer groups or more exclusively their 15-20 major customers, being that they would hold a larger business trade for purchases.
