INTRODUCTION
Throughout the years, technology has had a massive transition and is still in the process of production as everyday something new is created with each device having a specific purpose. The idea of a watch has been improved massively over time. From the first waterproof watch which was introduced by Rolex in 1926, the watch today has been greatly revolutionised with so many other added features (Anon, 2016). Today a watch or rather a smartwatch has the capability enhanced beyond timekeeping. Smartwatches are relatively new and still evolving. The U smartwatch is a unique and special kind of smartwatch which is easily differentiated from its competition. It is stylish, beautiful and has amazing features that will leave consumers chasing for it from their nearest retailers. The U smartwatch is different in many ways. It’s arguably the best looking smartwatch on the market, has an amazing user interface, and works with nearly any Android smartphone as well as iOS devices. Using the latest and cutting edge technology, the “U” Smartwatch, was created to make daily and personal tasks easier in the most effective way.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The U smartwatch is a sleek timekeeper that comes in a choice selection of different materials. And with its stylish variety of bands and watch faces, it's a new look any time you want.
To begin with benefits, the U watch’s display` consists of a flexible multitouch super AMOLED captive 1.6 inch touchscreen display protected by a thin layer of weapons grade gorilla glass. U smartwatch has a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels giving off vibrant colours, deep blacks and superb viewing angles. The interface is fast and easy to understand, unlike other smartwatches.
The device runs on the latest android wear software which is now better than ever. The device is able to run very smoothly and fast with 1GB of ram and a powerful Qualcomm MSM8x26 quad core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
The device is super light weighing only 50g and is additionally also very thin at only 12mm thick.
The U smartwatch is packed with several sensors which include an Accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, GPS, and a barometer. These sensors allow a user to monitor his daily activity levels such how calories he or she has burnt throughout the day, how many steps he or she has taken, etc. The heart rate monitor measures the pulse. The GPS is used to track a runners’ route and distance so that he can see just how far he has gone. Running, walking or taking a stroll, U smartwatch uses the accelerometer to detect exactly what activity a user is doing. Combined with the accelerometer, the gyroscope enables precise calculation of a users’ movements and direction. The device also allows a user to choose a type of exercise so as to accurately track how many calories he or she is burning.
The U smartwatch is IP68 certified which means that it is dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. A user can therefore take U smartwatch for a swim and track how many laps he does and how many calories he burns.

In addition Connectivity: Device comes equipped with GSM, HSPA as well as LTE transceivers which allows it to be a standalone mobile device. One aspect of Ever charge is that it uses one of the built in gyroscopes to generate electricity as the device is moved around. A simple flick of the wrist could generate enough power to up your devices battery percentage by 3%. Power generation is brought to a halt when the battery is returned to its optimal capacity. Another feature is that the device wastes a lot of electricity through heat which is now absorbed by thermos conductive patches which convert this heat into electricity. This also works for excess heat generated by the human body, which in turn heats up the device. All this allows the device to maintain a full charge at almost all times.

PRODUCT MARKET
After running our market research which we used primary and secondary market, we concluded that this product is targeted to mostly the people between the ages of 14 to 60 years. The target for the watch is primarily aspirational types, being, people who are busy, active, healthy and on the move. Also, urban types with expendable income who are fashionable and like technology will pay for the added convenience.
