...more memorable, life changing, or forgotten. Regardless of the events, whether big or small, the human brain uses it to shape new events in the future. While the individual will forget some easily, others will remain engraved in the heart of an individual. The most powerful memories remain in the heart leaving often unforgettable images and events for a longer period of time, and probably the whole of their life, and form an unforgettable memory, are among the most memorable events in the life of a person. Deeply engraved events have a profound influence on the life of the individual. Nonetheless, some teach lessons, while others are memories of happiness and love. Above all, the most memorable events are those that are life changing. This essay focuses on a major memorable event that happened to me at a quite tender age, and which taught me an important lesson, which I still find of use and influence up to this stage of my life. If I close my eyes and think about my life since my childhood period to the present stage of my life, I recount many things and major events that I have experienced. However, it is possible that these are not all the experiences I have had in my life, as I did not master the less important events. There are those events that I treasure, and find hard to forget, while others are mere memories of the past, with no major influence. Nonetheless, some of these events are small and meaningless, while others are enormous and unforgettable. Some of the memories...

...My Unforgettable Trip to California Mirna El Hadi American Intercontinental University English 106 Dr. Rebecca Coleman January 12, 2013 “My Unforgettable Trip to California” This past April, my friend and I took a five-day trip to California, where we visited San Francisco and the Napa Valley wine country. We flew out on a Friday morning and stayed in the Golden State until Wednesday afternoon. During our visit, we saw quite a bit of gorgeous scenery, ate some scrumptious food, and drank some tasty wine. All in all, it was a fun, relaxing, and memorable vacation. But the reason the getaway was truly memorable is because I lucky to spend such an amazing time where I got to enjoy an awesome weather visit some unforgettable places, and best of all, try new kinds of food, which is my favorite. “Cool Weather for a Vacation Pleasure” When it comes to San Francisco’s weather, all I can say is “Gorgeous.” I mean that many great aspects of our vacation that were beyond our control just happened to go in our favor. In San Francisco, for instance, the weather was absolutely beautiful, with sunshine, very few clouds, and mild temperatures. The city has a reputation for being foggy, chilly, and windy, so we were fortunate to experience the lovely weather while we were there. In addition, my friend and I went to Pier 51, which is “home” to some sea lions during certain times of the year. Though there are many times throughout the year that the sea lions are not present...

...IV NARRATIVE REPORT 1. Weekly Narrative Report a. First Week: November 24-28, 2014 “New challenges were started, new experiences were encountered, and new learnings were met—all these things came in the first week of my practice teaching experience.” As I was assigned in Vicente B. Ylagan National High School (VBYNHS), I discovered that practice teaching was a very crucial part of a student-teacher’s life. In the very first day of our practice teaching, 24th day of November 2014, together with my colleagues, daily schedule and subjects were given to us and we were assigned to our cooperating teachers. Based on my schedule’s list, I have a one-hour class period in the morning, from 8:20 to 9:20 for English class and two-hour class from 1:00 to 2:00 and another 3:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon for both MAPEH class. It was a big relief to have my minor subject-MAPEH because there were no computations anyway, but having its four components was not as easy as pie. And, the cooperating teachers that were given to me were Sir Jaypee Jimenez for my English subject and Sir Eleno Bandayrel for my MAPEH. Besides, on that day, we also met the professional teachers on that institution, few new colleagues and students with unfamiliar faces, and my major and minor class-9-Onyx and 9-Jade. Aside from that, we had figured out their classrooms, canteen and offices as well. As the time went on, I took the road of difficulties in each day: travel going to school and going back home...

...Sinziana Preda Professor Trimble English 55 Narrative Essay March 21, 2014 Narrative Essay Life is full of ups and downs. When things go wrong we learn to appreciate the small good things in life. Just like everyone else I been through both bad and good experiences, and I had obstacles along the way that made my road a little harder. That is why I believe the year 2011 aka my senior year has been the best time of my life so far. One of the reasons why 2011 was the best time of my life is because I was a senior in high school. I was doing great in school, and my grades were better than ever. I was in the honor roll of my school for almost every marking period and that made me feel very proud. I didn’t think I was actually going to make it to senior year in four years so just the fact that I was a senior made me feel amazing. My senior trip was also a major highlight. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We spent three days and two nights in a resort in Vermont called Smuggler’s Notch, and it was nice to get away from New York for a few days. We went on bus and watched a few movies to make the trip feel shorter. I was very excited and eager to get there. I knew this was the beginning of an unforgettable weekend next to my friends. Since it was a long ride we were all trying to kill time by cracking jokes and doing pranks on the people that fell asleep. Taking pictures of them while they were drooling uploading them on Facebook, putting shaving cream on their...

...repeated daily boring life, people can have a fresh experience and get energy to stand their humdrum life, like we take a ten minutes break time after we study for one hour. I also love going on a trip. Of all the trips I had been on, my most memorable journey was to the Jeju Island with my family. Even though the island was a small area, such as millet, in the world, the family vacation showed me unforgettable beauty and gave me precious memory, such as landscape and coastline road. My unforgettable memory began as soon as I arrived at Jeju Island. I took an airplane to visit Jeju Island from Incheon airport. After about one and a half hour, I arrived at the island. The Jeju airport was not particularly different, but when my family went to out to reserve a rent car, we could not hide our surprised looks. As soon as we stood at the outside of the island, I could not forget the feeling of the cool wind, like a cold sprite in refrigerator, rushing through my whole body, the sunshine that caressed me, and the salted air smell which pleasantly irritate my nose. Also, after we got the rent car, driving on route gave me a strong impression, because there were tall trees like giant and straighten road like airplane runway. It made me recall Guam Island which is a famous tourist attraction in the United States. The emotion was the same as when I try to eat a new food which I had not eaten before, because it was totally different environment from my sweet house. My sweet house was surrounded...

...on an unforgettable performance for the audience. That was the one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, acting in a musical in a summer repertory, saying my lines properly and executing the choreography with potency and dedication. I enjoyed every single minute of the product of fifteen sessions of rehearsing and thirty days of memorizing my lines and the steps of the tiring choreography. I was 11 years old back then and very shy to perform to in front of people. I never experienced acting on a big stage before but when I stepped on the stage and as the spotlight hit my face for my first appearance, I knew this is what I was born to do. It was difficult to understand why I loved to act but what I learned this hidden talent had so much to offer for me. After, this experience in acting I became more sociable to people due to the fact I made so much amazing friends that summer. Also, I felt so confident with everything I do and it felt so liberating because before...

...Moten Sports in Society Coach Mohr Tues. 7-9:50 pm My Life in Sports My sports life began when I was just a little girl. My parents, well mainly my dad, would put me into different classes to play sports. As I grew up, my two older brothers, Raymond and Timothy Moten that played football and basketball. I would never be in the house because I would be with them playing outside. I would play along with them till I couldn’t keep up anymore. Tim would always make me play with him so I can be good and have fun. I recall almost every weekend playing basketball in the street with our close neighbor Chris. While me attending middle school, at Nazarene Christian School, he went to John Glenn High School with my brother Tim. After Chris moved out of state, I would hardly be out in the streets interacting with other neighbors and friends like most kids. I attended Nazarene since second grade. At that private school, the lowest grade you could be in to play sports was fourth grade. While attending there, I played volleyball and basketball. I was really good and enjoyed basketball more than volleyball. I became a better player as I grew up. I continued to do both sports all the way up in to high school. While attending John Glenn High School in Norwalk, Ca, as a freshman I tried out for the freshman and sophomore team. When I was playing, I was the middle blocker. It was a huge difference from middle school but I enjoyed my season. Our team was better than the varsity and junior...

...Religious Life of Planet Earth Madge L Smith Dr. Margaret Rinck World Religion January 29, 2012 In order for me to establish if people on earth are religious, I have to look at what criteria’s I will use to make that determination. It is complex in religious history; we will look at four-development points to religion; belief, practical, experiential, sociological. Once we have completed a study you will see how all four of these points factor into religion on the earth. You first have to believe and that is with anything that you do in life. Religion has expanded because people believe in what they are doing or ask to do. This is how you enter into any religion is by what you believe about what you are being told in regards to that religion. Next, there has to be a practical application to what you say you believe. In other words, you have to know and be willing to practice what you say you now believe in. Most people don’t just comply to a religion just because it has been past down to them by there parents. You have to have your own encounter to come into what they say you should do for a better life. What you are doing in your life have to make sense to you as an individual in order for you to pursue after it. This is where the sociological perspective comes into play. We can look at the behavior of the Muslims who by there behavior regarding prayer shows that they believe in the power of what they are doing. At a certain times...

I learned that even when life gives you hard times you have to have hope. I learned that the hard way. Tough hope, I experienced that first hand. Just last year I got a concussion while skating. It happened when I was doing my triple axel during a figure skating show when I fell on my back. I got up and finished my routine with much difficulty. Right when I got of the ice I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. My performance won second place. When we got on the bus I fainted. The next time I woke up I was in the doctor's office.
