Website Analysis Paper
I am going to evaluate the page layout, navigation, and performance based on my knowledge of www.worlds-worst-website.com, website that from my knowledge was designed to be a bad designed website. However I for this paper I will treat it as if it was a website to give facts or information about things on the internet or world. I well discuss what the website has as content, who was this content made for, the way it navigates, and how it can be improved. This website is really bad so my goal is to try to come up for a way this website is bearable. There are meaning things wrong with this website that make it bad. What is on www.worlds-worst-website.com?
Well there are many links on this site that take you to different websites. Two of the links send you to same website just to two different pages of that site. One like seems to take you to a game that has something to do with Obama. One is just a video of cats. Then there are links on different dinosaurs and one link about bicycles. There is also a link that makes you take a quiz of a show. This sites content is well everywhere. There is no actual main content on this site. There is just random links to different sites and it makes the site more like a share link site if anything. I am also going to say that the websites it sends you to are better than this site; however I still do not think they are better or really look that impressive. The look really old and need to be updated as well.
Who it is meant for?
Well I think that this website was meant to look bad and navigate bad on purpose. So that people can come to the website and notice what is bad about it or just to annoy people. So to make this article easier let’s say this was a series website and the creator was not very good. Let’s also say this site was made to get people to other sites the

...Kudler Fine Food Website Analysis After viewing the Kudler Fine Foods website, it’s determine the site is very plain and does not process a lot of modern features that you would find from most gourmet food websites. I find the website very ordinary and simple, although people say keep things simple, this website is too simple and lacks imagination for the customer. Just looking at the site at for the first time, I was able to navigate through the entire website in little of no time. The website has very few graphics other than the main logo and some rotating food pictures. It’ determined the website can use more pictures of elegant gourmet foods. There are other companies on the internet that sell products similar to Kudler’s website, and they must use graphics to set Kudler, visually apart from the company's competitors. There’s no means of ecommerce on the website. There is no way to purchase any of the products on line. As a team we will address the design for the Kudler website, specifically: the style and artistic quality used on the website; the navigation of the site; the over-all performance of the site; the marketing strategy; and the web community as a whole. The site does not have no site map, no product listing and most important a search engine within the site; if you are looking for something in particular. Kudler needs to overhaul their website, adding new features that web shoppers are accustomed to. The creation of a product database...

English 265 Website Analysis

...Subject: Website Analysis of Apple and Samsung Abstract This memo will be discussing the utilization of .com websites of two of the world’s largest technology and electronic brands, Apple and Samsung. In this memo, we will explain how each company uses their websites to gear towards their specific brand and consumers. Each company has its own way of separating itself from competitors in the market, with Apple and Samsung, they tend to be on polar ends of the marketing and consumer snagging spectrum. While one company focuses in on the simplicity of heavy technology, the other weighs in on the variety of technology. Both companies use their websites to efficiently capture different audiences, and effectively together rack enough consumers to control 46.6% of the world market share in technology. The two companies both utilize their websites to be the driving force of their brand. Website Layout Apples website is a direct insight into the sophisticated, simplistic, and professional theme that Apple has tried to portray for decades now. With its sleek and mono-font, monochromatic design, the website is directly setup to create brand awareness. Immediately, an IProduct user or anyone familiar with Apples products recognizes that the layout and color scheme of the website, is the exact same layout and color scheme in the platforms they use for the IPad, ITouch, Mac, and IPhone. Their easy-to-use website also mimics the “for all ages” concept of their products. Samsung’s website...

...Website Analysis Assignment I choose the website of Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan to analysis. The site clearly states Gleaners mission - Nourishing Communities by Feeding Hungry People, on the heading with the company’s icon and also in the first “What we do” text chunk. From the information provided, I found that it serves three audience segments: donators, volunteers, and partner agencies. From my perspective, the donators group is the one the organization mostly to target, because compare to other groups, the organization provides exhaustive introductions about donation and put them on a more easy-to-grasp place. For instance, three out of five homepage text blurbs and the first picture comes out in the homepage are all about donation The website groups related items into different menus and links. However, the link name and the hierarchical order are confusing to me. The main menu arranges information as HOME, TAKE ACTION, EVENTS/FOOD DRIVES, END HUNGER and PARTNER AGENCIES. For the first sight, people will not understand what the END HUNGER section means and will have to search. Besides, I think the END HUNGER and EVENTS/FOOD DRIVES sections should be before the TAKE ACTION and PARTNER AGENCIES. Because people need to see the organization’s mission and approaches before making a donation or partner decision. Moreover, the website does not do efficient in terms of web navigation. Different audiences have to click back and forward among different...

E-mail: cc1604@nova.edu Background Enterprise Resource Planning integrates internal and external management information across an entire organization, embracing finance/accounting, manufacturing, sales and service, customer relationship management, etc. ERP systems automate this activity with an integrated software application (Hossein, 2004). The fundamental advantage of ERP is that integrating the myriad processes by which businesses operate saves time and expense. Decisions can be made more quickly and with fewer errors. Immigration Website Analysis

...I began my research of finding a helpful website dedicated to immigration by using the search engine Google. To limit my search results and in order to finding an appropriate website, I had used Google Advanced Search; I used filters within the advanced search in hope to reduce the number of search results on Google. I had used the “this exact word or phrase” filter my search results to only “immigration issues” and then I had used “site or domain” filter to narrow my search results to websites of “.gov, .org, and .edu” and also the “last update” filter to further narrow down my search results to the “past year”. Using the Google Advanced search engine was a good idea because it narrowed down my results from 232,000,000 (30 pages) to 101 results...

Rhetorical Analysis of a Website

...decrease the cost of owning a house. The website for Habitat for Humanity gives a good example of how they can help people who want to help others in being able to own a home of their own; through its links, slideshow of pictures, and how they can be contacted with ease without having them to have a hard time trying to find what they are looking for; unlike some websites. The first thing that stands out on the website is the links. It is set up so that a person can click on them and it will take them to where they want to go. Some of the websites that people go to look at have a whole lot of information cluttered up together; making it hard for people to find what they are looking for. The website has two places for finding links. The first set of links can be found at the top of the page and the other set of links are found in the middle of the page. The links in the middle of the page are bolder and more colorful for people who might have visual problems, or to make it easier for people to find their way around the website. For example, if a person wanted to become a volunteer without having to deal with all of the information on the website; all they would have to do is click on the volunteer link. This way makes it quick and easier and maybe gets more volunteers because another website would not be organized that well making it hard for people to find a way to become a volunteer. Another thing that stands out on the website is the slideshow of pictures. Most of the...

...Website Migration – Tony’s Chips Website Migration – Tony’s Chips With Tony's Chips being purchased by the Acme Company, they would like a new change the way the website is used for the business. The old method was an externally hosted site with no online ordering options. The new website plan is for it to be redesigned to allow for online ordering, onsite web hosting, and site redundancy to allow for maximum uptime. What they are asking for is called the system development life cycle (SDLC). Systems development life cycle is defined as "activities and functions that systems developers typically perform, regardless of how those activities and services fit a particular methodology” (Shelly & Rosenblatt, 2011). The systems development life cycle contains the following steps in the model: required analysis, testing, implementation, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. Discuss what it will take to build a Web architecture, move an existing Website with minimal downtime, and provide a disaster recovery solution to ensure the site is always available. The new web architecture is a complete change from the previous implementation of the site causing an entirely new template and architecture. The new architecture will allow for online ordering that will free up more user time in answering phones taking orders. I am assuming the previous network architecture is...
