Which is the better choice Fresh, Frozen, or Canned foods?

Healthy eating, daily exercise, and keeping a healthy weight is most important of someone who is health conscious and cares about there body and well being. Making healthy food choices can be difficult in today's world. Additions in the food industry and how our food is prepared and packaged have changed dramatically. Anyone who goes to the supermarket now has the option to purchase canned, frozen, or fresh foods. So which one do we choose? Each of these options vary in different nutritional value, taste, and health risks. It is important to know what we consuming and what may be a health risk and what may not be.

I will never forget the time when I tasted vegetables that were freshly picked from mothers garden how delicious they were. The taste, colors, and how they looked, at young age, would set a standard of the quality of food that I would choose to eat for the rest of my life. I did at sometime had the chance to try canned vegetables but I was not pleased. Comparing those fresh delicious vegetables to the taste of a canned vegetable that was probably sitting in that can full of water and oil for who knows how long, was incomparable. The look of the canned was simply unattractive, old, wet and squishy. Comparing that to the bright color, snappish texture, and overall taste of a fresh vegetable was incomparable. But having to choose from fresh, frozen, or canned can be confusing for some people and knowing some extra information about them and how they are packaged can make picking the better choice at the supermarket easier.
