Bearded dragons get energy by their diet, water, and lighting. They are omnivores because their diet contains vegetables, fruit, meat, supplements, and water. When they are young they eat fifty percent plants and fifty percent meat. When the Bearded dragons get older they eat sixty-five to ninety percent plants. The main live food they eat is crickets. If they do not have enough live food they will then turn to cannibalism. A supplement they need is calcium. People who own dragons will put this on their crickets which are called dusting. Bearded dragons also need water to get energy. Lighting is also very important for the bearded dragons. Without light they would be slow and not have enough energy.
