The three prewriting strategies that I liked best was listing, clustering, and sketching. I have written plenty of essays and stories in my lifetime, so I have my own system of prewriting. Out of the prewriting strategies we have discussed I like listing the most. I feel like writing whatever comes to your mind helps you to see what really peaks your imagination. Listing could help me as a writer by opening my topics to new things that I might not have been able to see. Listing does not have restrictions

You have be careful not to ramble because you have so much to say. I find this hard sometime in writing. Keeping writing simple will help the reader see what you are meaning to say. As I am writing a paper I find it is hard to cut things out because I have a certain way I am going with the paper. If I can’t see how to keep going that way and cut stuff out it is hard. Sometime I have to cut everything out but the subject and really think about what I want to say. I slowly add things in. Therefore

After finishing my first draft of the first paper I thought that my paper was decent. I then received my critique and recognized that there was still a lot more work to be done. After accepting some very helpful feedback I greatly revised my paper. Every draft that I wrote this semester was greatly

I never truly appreciated reading and writing for what it was, not until now. Lucky for me, I was taught at a very young age to read and write by my beautiful mother. From the time I was able to walk. She and I spend a lot of nights teaching me the knowledge and aspects of writing. But not so much for reading; I had to do most of that on my own. Once i began to read more on my own, I saw a change within myself and my grades started to improve. When i realized that by reading more and that I can use

Tick. Tock. At one moment while writing, you are looking at a blank document on your computer. Two seconds later, you are looking at the tweet you were tag in on your phone. Time is passing by faster than you know it. You realize now, the deadline on submitting your writing is approaching. You panic. You start to write random sentences, hoping that it will all make sense towards the end. Writing is a piece of art, therefore it should not include a deadline for submission. A deadline should not exist
