IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME! By: Kristine Jemarace P. Maravilla

The very loveliest and beautiful day in the calendar is the Christmas day. December is now on our way, many are busy buying gifts, and many are waiting when their loves ones abroad will come back home, many are making caroling at the streets and many are so excited of their Christmas party. This are only some of the happenings happen in the society when December came.
But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Some people say it’s the time of giving and sharing, it’s the day when family assembled, and it’s the happiest day of the year! , but other people also says it’s the time of sorrow because they will not meet some of their family members, they cannot buy Christmas presents for their children, and having an arrogant dinner may be only a wish and not a reality.
Yet, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. The only important happening during Christmas is that when we are going to church and be thankful of all the blessings given by God to us. Arrogant dinners, egotistical parties and narcissistic celebration is not important, as long as we have a good health and our family is strong bonded, then it is a merry, merry Christmas!
As the song goes by, “Lets sing merry Christmas and a happy holiday, this season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus, let Him be the one who guide us as another new year starts and may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts.”
May we all of us have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

...Conclusion 7 • References 9 Introduction In the class, I was given an elaborate overview of interpersonal relationships. I was taught about the different impacts of interpersonal relations on an individual and how these can determine his personality, quality of lifestyle and the status of his relations with those related to him personally and professionally. I was also given an idea about human communication, the chief features of human communication and its major determinants. The class also gave me an idea on how can I identify the strengths and weaknesses of my personal interpersonal relationships and how can I implement ways that can rectify my weaknesses and help me in redesigning my personality. I believe that the class notes will be of immense help in the personal as well as professional aspects of my life. You cannot call yourself a leader simply by achieving goals. Instead it is the long term ability to encompass all of these elements; being aware of your thoughts and actions, behaving in a way that encourages others to follow your behavior and inspiring others to improve upon their actions. “For success it is not enough to understand the industry, the technology and business models.” (Rizzatti 2005) Successful leaders have the expertise required for a position but also influence unity towards organizational goals. Any manager or leader, who strives for success, should acquire certain valuable characteristics. These characteristics will help determine the effectiveness of the leader. “Effective leadership is one key element in the success of a group and virtually anyone can learn to be an effective leader.” (Success by Design) Modern theories of leadership suggest that the skills needed to become an effective leader can be learned. Breakdowns occur because no one took the time to check if what was communicated was understood by the people engaged in the conversation. Here are four easy steps that will assist you in getting clear with your client's wants, needs and expectations. 1. Ask a Question. Assume you have no idea what the client really wants. The only way to uncover their needs is to first ask questions. Some useful information gathering questions are: “What results are you looking to achieve? What is most important to you? Why? If you could eliminate three of your biggest problems or headaches, what would they be? What factors do you consider when choosing a vender?” 2. Process the Information.
