...“Catch Me” Toys for children have changed drastically from one generation to the next. Most toys have a very powerful influence on a child’s thinking and interaction with peers. When choosing a toy, you strive to find a toy that balances your child’s behavior and social development. So for this paper I have designed a toy called, “Catch Me”, for kids around the age of four to enjoy. My paper will discuss the toy’s age range, the toy’s characteristics, its developmental advantages and domains, how the toy actually looks and how the toy can stimulate a child’s development. I designed a toy and named it “Catch Me”; the toy itself is like a car. It is four inches wide and six inches in length with rugged all over wheels. The car is equipped with Bluetooth, sensors, bright lights, and a speaker for prerecorded commands. The toy would also include four wristbands for tracking the players. The car comes in a candy apple red color and can move pretty fast. The toy, “Catch Me,” is pretty much a version of hide and seek with some cool ways of play. The toy is intended for children four and older, and it is a very active toy. To play with “Catch Me,” the car has to be synced to the wristbands included with the car, and the car has to try and find you and put you out of the game. Anytime the player gets within six...

...Roles of Running Backs Wide Receivers in Football Running backs and Wide receivers crucial roles in football. Receivers are essential to the game of football, but the running back is the true heart of the team. American football is a tough, physical game requiring a wide range of attributes including explosive power, strength, agility, speed, and physical and mental toughness. Games can take up to 3 hours to complete and can look quite complex, largely because each play is often highly tactical. In reality football is actually a relatively easy sport to follow and enjoy. It is the complexities of the sport, gained from years avid watching, which make the game so interesting to watch and which make it more a test of brute strength and muscle. Running backs and wide receivers play an important role. They both play on the same team and they both carry the football. Their job in football is to score touchdowns to win the game. The Quarterback is the person that makes sure that he gets the ball to the Running back and the Wide receiver. Once the ball is caught by either one of them he has to run with the football to the end zone to score a touchdown. It sounds real easy to do but they have to get through the other team defenders that are trying to stop them from scoring a touchdown. Running backs and Wide receivers roles are the same in that they both run with the football but their roles are also different. A Running back main job is to “run” with the football to...

...Throwing in football is very difficult because there are so many risks. But if you are successful you will move down the field faster and get the ultimate reward. Winning the game. The key to a good offense is being able to throw the football because it will open up opportunities in the run game. Throwing is very difficult, it is a process that if you miss one step then you throw will be unreachable or inaccurate. There are 4 steps to throwing a spiral. When you throw a spiral it makes it easier for the receiver to catch the ball. This is difficult because if the ball isn't a spiral and is wobbly then the receiver cannot read the ball and won't know where to put his hands in order to catch the ball. Many people find that they cannot make passes...

...by everyone from small children to old men, from raw amateurs to millionaire professionals. In the game, the two teams will take turn batting and pitching/defending. Batting is important because you need points to win, but defending is also important because you need to keep your opponent from scoring. As a baseball player with three years playing in the school club, I am very confident on my knowledge of the game and specifically, the positions. For new players who want to try playing baseball, you need to choose one position from nine on the field, with each position has its own attributes and responsibilities. We are going to take a look at the defense formation from the farthest players away from the home plate to the nearest one: outfielders, infielders, pitcher and catcher. There are three positions in the outfield: left fielder, center fielder and right fielder. Respectively, the defense position numbers which are used in the scoresheet are 7, 8 and 9. Outfielders normally play behind the six other members of the defense who play in or near the infield. Because the length of each baseball field are different, the distance from the outfield wall to the home plate of each field is unique. However, outfielders normally stand 200 to 250 feet from the home plate. In the game, an outfielder's duty is to try to catch long fly balls before they hit the ground or to quickly catch or retrieve and return to the infield any other balls entering the outfield. For equipment, outfielder's...

...'Pokemon' still catching 'em all on Nintendo 3DS (CNN) -- Two new Pokémon games, "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y," have taken the gaming world by storm, selling more than 4 million units globally in their first two days of availability, and tracking to become the fastest-selling games of all time for the handheld Nintendo 3DS. Not bad for a franchise that got its start in 1996 on the Nintendo Game Boy handheld console. But the president of the Pokémon Company said the new games stay true to their roots of bringing people together to play while offering a new blueprint for the universe of pocket monsters. "From the beginning, communication between players has been the primary goal for the Pokémon brand," Tsunekazu Ishihara told CNN. "Today, the ability to connect millions of people around the world via Wi-Fi is why launching 'Pokémon X' and 'Pokémon Y' simultaneously worldwide was an ambitious yet important goal." Since debuting in video and card games, Pokemon has become a cultural phenomenon across the globe. There have been cartoons, cereals and a feature-length film, not to mention the national and global tournaments that draw thousands of players. "Gotta catch 'em all" is the franchise's catch phrase, referring to the player's goal of catching and training the tiny monsters to compete against other players. That's gotten significantly harder, though, with the expansion to more than 700 different known creatures in the universe. Unlike previous titles that were named after...

...Cruel Old Lady I was six years old when I wanted to go to first Seattle Mariners baseball game to watch Ichiro play because he was my idle. I wanted to be like him making the big bucks and playing baseball for the Seattle Mariners. My interests have changed now, but I still wouldn’t mind play for the Seattle Mariners and making millions to lose baseball games. Besides watching the Seattle Mariners lose almost all their games all season long the games are very fun to go to. The atmosphere and energy is very exciting during the games. For my first time I had no idea of what it would be like at a game because I was only six years old and had never gone to a game. For my birthday I asked my parents for tickets to go and watch a Mariners baseball game. I had figured that I would get to go and watch because I didn’t ask for much that year because I had really wanted to go watch a game. So when my birthday came around I couldn’t wait. I was so excited to open up an envelope that held my greatest present of all time. To my surprise I had not gotten Mariner tickets, I was going to cry until I had realized that Christmas was only 19 days away so my parents were just going to give them to me then (I was hoping). So I was okay with what I had gotten for my birthday even though I had not gotten what I really wanted the most. The next 19 days seemed like 19 years and it seemed as if it would never come. I was going crazy, I was about to cry if I didn’t get my tickets...

...the road. When we got to our hotel, we checked into our rooms. They were nice rooms and had the most comfortable beds. It is a very nice hotel, they had a track, tennis court, basketball court, and a shuffle board area on their roof. They had a very nice workout area and a very nice pool. After we ate we went to Coors Field. Before we went into the stadium we bought some water and seeds. The surprising thing that happened was when they let that food and drink into the stadium, which never happens in the bigger stadiums. There were many exciting moments for the Dodgers ranging from home runs to a phenomenal outing Clayton Kershaw. After the game they had an amazing 4th of July fireworks show after the game. The other great part about the show was that the played a bunch of songs about America, the whole thing was very patriotic. After the game we went back to the hotel to go to bed. Before we reached the hotel we stopped at a 7/11 and I got a Dr. Pepper slurpee. Later on I went to...

...The purpose of this task is to make a recommendation to the touch football coach of the position that I am most suited to. It will state the most important fitness components for each of the positions and will include results of the class fitness component testing and a game analysis to support the recommendation. As a touch player myself I believe that the following positions require the stated components, however, the class game analysis differs. The mid require speed to gain as much ground from either a ruck or breakthrough and catch the defenders offside. Coordination and agility are important to catch and pass the ball while running and changing direction sharply. Power is used in a simple tactic, which is to drive or accelerate to gain...

...outcome of this game”, the play by play announcer exclaimed. Tommy was assigned to cover the Lions fastest player. The quarterback yelled his play to the team and the huddle broke. “Hike”, the Quarterback screeched. He dropped back into his two step. The quarterback look down field to his tight end and saw no one was covering him. Tommy was supposed to be covering him. The quarterback threw a perfect spiral just as the defensive line got to him. Tommy saw the ball leave his hand and raced towards the receiver. The tight end jumped up to catch the ball, but the ball wasn’t there. Tommy had jumped in front of him to intercept the ball and was running down the field. With only 10 seconds left the coaches yelled at Tommy to get out of bounds. Tommy was at the 40 yard line when he ran out of gas and stepped out. The sideline was going nuts as Tommy ran over to catch his breath before he had to go out and lead his team to victory. “Atta boy Tommy”, the coach said...

...played basketball outside his house. He shot it from deep and then I heard a swish of the net knowing it went in. We kept shooting and shooting until we finally got somewhat bored. We went over and sat down on the chairs he had outside and talked about the most random stuff you could think about. “You are a potato,” Jack said out of nowhere as we laughed knowing this was one of our inside jokes and continued on. Then we decided that we wanted to play a basketball game against each other. But Jack did mention that he might have to check on his dogs at some point during the game. As we started the game we shot to see who got the ball first. I made the shot so I got the ball to start. We traded off points for a majority of the game....

...practice, it will consist of 12 athletes will little, to no, experience regarding the game of wheelchair basketball. The participants will be college students between the ages of 18-21, with 3 individuals encompassing each category (3 players with a level one classification, 3 players with a level two classification, and so on up to level four). As it relates to the actual practice, this will be taking place during the pre-season, as the athletes must become acquainted with the general knowledge and specifics of the game before more in-depth exercises can be configured. The practice will involve almost all aspects crucial to understanding the game, in which the athletes will become familiar with the rules and comfortable playing the game for the first time. I have arranged for them to work on controlling/handling their wheelchair, dribbling and passing a basketball while moving down the court, while finishing with a defensive activity to further help them understand the game and prevent turnovers/injuries while playing. I have chosen the specific drills in hopes of aiding the athletes in becoming comfortable within their wheelchairs, maneuvering around the court while being confident in their abilities. With key lessons such as hand position on the wheels of the chairs and keeping the athletes head up while racing down the court, these participants will have success when put into a real game situation. For our practice, we will be using the basketball courts within the Activities...

...I chose the film catch me if you can because I feel like it follows the true story well. Many crimes are committed and roles are played by one person.Catch me if you can is based on a true story about Frank W Abagnale. Frank was a doctor, a lawyer, & a co pilot for a major airline company, all before his 19th birthday .He was a master of deception and a successful con artist. He was a brilliant forger, who netted him millions of dollars in stolen funds. Carl Hanratty, An FBI agent made it his prime duty to catch Frank and bring him to justice, but Frank was always one step ahead of him. he was sentenced 12 years and isolation. Hanratty got him off on parole. Part of his parole agreement was for him to work under the supervision of Hanratty, to help the FBI catch con artists. there are many wonderful scenes in this film, but there were a few in particular that stood out to me the most. the first scene that stood out to me the most was when Frank interview the air pilot, and then he found a way to get a uniform and everything he needed to pretend to be a co-pilot. “I was an opportunist so when I saw an opening I ask myself ‘Could I get away with this?’.... The more I got...

Presently the physical science bring a huge overhaul with how the ball is hit and terrains. No two hits are the same as the is modified by the twist off the bat, wind, and the pivots. In years past, a jumble the center of the infield was dependably a simple single yet now with the new coding a ball's twist is significantly influenced by its arrival and pace. So the shortstop has a chance at consummation a rally right on time....
