...Keller University Math 533 Prof Ron Deluca Project Part C AJ Davis Inc., Regression Analysis June 18, 2016 Abstract: This is the final project C from Keller University math 533 using AJ Davis company data base provided in our doc sharing student portal. The bold questions are taken from Part C in the Project outline. My answer is underneath each of 14 questions. *Please note the formatting was difficult because Minitab fonts output is different than my desired Arial 12 point font. From AJ Davis database from our class. 1. Generate a scatterplot for income ($1,000) versus credit balance($), including the graph of the best fit line. Interpret. note y=income, x=credit balance Interpretation: The scatter plot of Income Vs Credit balance ($) show that the slope of the ‘best fit’ line is upward (positive); this indicates that Income varies directly with Credit Balance. As Income increases, Credit Balance also increases vice versa. 2. Determine the equation of the best fit line, which describes the relationship between income and credit balance. Y= -3.516 + 0.01193(x) 3. Determine the coefficient of correlation. Interpret. Correlations: Income ($1,000), Credit Balance($) Pearson correlation of Income ($1,000) and Credit Balance($) = 0.801 P-Value = 0.000 The coefficient of correlation is given as r = 0.801. The correlation coefficients between the variables show a positive sign OR direct relationship. The correlation coefficient is far from the P-Value...

...Kaplan University Arsianna Walker Comp II Final Project “Fear, which, in turn, is utilized as a rationalization for discrimination and prejudice” (Akhtar, 2014). According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics since 1990 an average of 590,400 inmates have been released annually from federal/state prisons. The amount of people that have been incarcerated is a multiplying number yearly in this country. America should be more tolerant if not accepting to the idea of convicted felon’s reintegration in to society. It is disheartening that people still live in fear or look down on others whom have had to be incarcerated. If we overcome our discriminations against convicted felons, they can successfully re-enter society, and become productive law abiding citizens. Imagine applying for job after job, with no luck at all even though your credentials qualify you. With no income to provide much less survive, how can anyone make it? The opportunity that someone with a clean criminal history has is incomparable to that of someone with even just one prior conviction. Jobs as well as housing are not as easily attained by a convicted felon. I myself would not know what to do or how to handle the heavy weight of re-entering society. I am not one to make excuses, pacify or enable anyone. This is a real issue that families are suffering the consequences of. Unfortunately the view on imprisonment has been distorted by society ideas to label it as a way to lock up a “bad person and throw...

...“Stolling Down Burbon or finding Nemo” Choosing the right Vacation GM 530 Managerial Decision Making Professor: Glen MacDonnell Session/ March 2009 Choosing the right Vacation Summary Creating the perfect vacation spot for our family is very important. With individuals ranging from age 24- to 65 we want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves. Everyone has already agreed the beginning part of May would be the perfect time to take a family vacation. However the family lay divided on where they should spend their time vacationing. Our family has a limited time to take a vacation so it’s important for us to pick a great spot because no one wants to waste time on a vacation that is less than stellar. As a family we would like to enjoy the sun and the sites while keeping in mind each other’s personal preferences for fun. There are so many beautiful places to have fun but some have become increasingly more expensive to vacation at. As a family we have saved enough money to go on a vacation that does not total over 7,000. The family has saved for approximately two years for this vacation. Problem Statement Out immediate family includes my mom and Dad and two sisters and one brother. We all have different views on our idea of fun. My Parents don’t mind staying close by and having fun in a nearby state. However the siblings and I would rather spend time in some place further away so that we can enjoy summer weather and beaches. A variety of places have been thrown up in the air...

Requirements determination is a crucial part of the systems development life cycle; therefore impertinence, impartiality, relaxing constraints, attention to details, and reframing are important characteristics. 3. Describe three traditional techniques for collecting information during analysis. When might one be better than another? Traditional techniques for collecting requirements include interviewing and listening, observing users, and analyzing procedures and other documents. Interviewing and listening involve talking with users individually or as a group to discover their views about the current and target systems; it also involves carefully preparing an interview outline and guide before conducting the interview. Interviews are best done when only a few people are involved, when you need open-ended questions or the questions vary from individual to individual, or when a more personal method is needed. 4.
