A scenario that doesn’t let you think about anything else. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, it is a thing to look forward to. With some of the most thrilling roads in the world, driving all the way took the level of adventure to another high. Three of the best places I wanted to explore eagerly and that I did in our last trip were: * Meena Bazaar * Ghatgi Road * Maranello Restaurant As I enjoyed the last year’s trip so I want to meet you personally and express my feelings about the trip. ...ESSAY Imagine we are walking on a crowded street in Japan; we could hardly differentiate a Japanese passerby from a Chinese passerby. An obvious reason fact for this is that both Japan and China mainland are within the same geographical area in which they are very much influenced by each other on their living lifestyles. Another reason for that is because Japanese and Chinese were interrelated in their history. In the first centuries A.D based on the Julian calendar, Japanese imported ranges of sources of ideas, production techniques and sets of material from China mainland. Stearns (2000) –‘Thus, the Japanese developed a very unique civilization from a blend of their own culture and a selective importation and conscious refashioning of the Chinese influences.’ The selecting and blending process of these two types of culture had thus resulted in the existence of both similarities and differences between them. Both Japanese and Chinese have identical features in their lifestyle, but they are very much differentiated in their diet as well as clothing. Since Japanese and Chinese are Asians, they inherited some similarities in their lifestyle in the aspect of collectivism, high-context culture and also high-power-distance which are believed to have an impact on communication as mentioned by Devito (2005). As a matter of fact, Japanese and Chinese, both practice the concept of collectivism, which can be said as a group work. Collectivism emphasizes on group goals, and success is...

...1.0 Introduction 1.1Organizational behavior Schermerhorn et al (2005) define organizational behavior (OB) as "the study of human behavior in organizations". OB is also a multi-disciplinary study, taking knowledge from social and behavioral sciences and applying it to real-world situations. Or Actions and attitudes of individuals and groups toward one another and toward the organization as a whole, and its effect on the organization's functioning and performance. Organizational behavior (OB) and its affiliated subjects helps us understand what people think, feel and do in organizational settings. For managers and, realistically, all employees, this knowledge helps predict, understand and control organizational events. There are three determinants of behavior in order to make an organization more effective: individual, groups, and structure. The people within the organization and their behaviors affect the performance of the organization. There are a number of behavioral disciplines that contribute to OB: psychology, sociology, social psychology, anthropology, and political science. There are lot of challenges and opportunities today for managers to use OB concepts. 1.2 Organization behavior concept In every field of social science, or even physical science, has a philosophical foundation of basic concepts that guide its development.
