The topic I found most interesting in this chapter is Symbiosis. Symbiosis is important because many invertebrates form associations with other organism in order to survive. There are five different types of symbiotic relationships that range from one organism benefiting from the interaction (parasitic) to both individuals benefiting (mutualism). One symbiotic relationship that I find interesting is the mutualistic relationship between the Clownfish and an Anemone. The Clownfish will secrete waste that provides food for the Anemone and in return the Anemone will provide protection for the Clownfish.
