...Dirt Bike Inc. is a company that manufactures and sells its own brand of off road motorcycles. In order for the company to increase sale, better market, reduce labor, and secure private information some changes have to be made. The meaning of this paper is to provide supervision on how the intranet and information technology services can be beneficial for Dirt Bikes Inc. Companies that start off small, and in time gain success, can only uphold that success by investing a percentage of their yearly profits back into the company. Over the years Dirt Bike has evolved into a profitable company and yet they are still willing to find a new way of increasing sales, and making their company more significant. Dirt Bike has a hundred or more employees that are divided up into different departments. There is a sales team, and marketing, Human Resource department and an engineering and production department. Dirt Bike provides internet access and desktop computers to its staff. But in order to become more effective and to better customer services clients and consumers changes need to be made. In business today it is a necessity for communication channels to be as proficient as possible. A complete overhaul of the IT communication is recommended. Although there are significant costs associated with implementing a new...

...The Future of Motorcycles and ATV’s I decided to write my research paper on today’s new alternate powered motorcycles and ATV’s. I have been riding and racing sense I was 8 years old. I have seen a lot of changes with motorcycles and ATV’s over the years. I started out riding two-stroke motorcycles, then four-strokes and now I’m told that electric motorcycles will be on the tracks in the not too distant future. Every year I enjoy taking annual trips to Colorado and Oklahoma. It’s refreshing to get off the motocross track and enjoy riding some very fun OHV trails. My favorite part about riding trails is seeing all the beautiful scenery. But it seems every time I go trail riding, my group and I get yelled at by someone claiming that “were are destroying their trails” and that “were just making noise.” It irritates me that there are riders out there that don’t follow the trail rules, but I am not one of them. We stay on the trail, we are respectful, our bikes and ATV’s are under the required decibels and we love the land we ride on just as much as they do. I’m glad to see our sport is getting a lot better about being more environmentally friendly with advances When I first got involved with the sport of motocross in 1997, you had two different types of dirt bikes and ATV’s to choose from, the two-stroke or the four-stroke engine. The two-stroke motorcycles dominated the motocross classes because of their high performance and lightweight motors. Unfortunately, these...

...Marketing Research Paper Benjamin A. Richmond MKT/421 3/21/2016 Tom O’Brien Marketing Research Paper When it comes to a Michelin tire, everyone knows that they are made with quality and the highest levels of innovation. The technology that is put into a Michelin tire is of great importance and Michelin takes great pride in the product that they make. There are multiple target markets that Michelin targets such as agriculture, racing, motocross, Indy, industrial equipment, bicycles, high performance and all season tires for our everyday automobiles. “All Michelin tires (both Replacement & Original Equipment) com with a limited warranty for tread wear, as well as a limited warranty which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original usable tread, or for 6 years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first. Mileage tread wear warranties vary by tire line” (Michelin US, 2015). The target market for my product will be for the everyday driver that can provide all the safe and performance needs that a tire should give. My product will be one that will divide and conquer the road and easily separate itself from other contender’s. The tire market that my product will most be involved and end up on top of is the all season tires. The reason for the all season tire market is simply because this tire product is the ones that are most popular and are used more than any other tires in the world. My product has no boundaries when it comes...

...Individual Research Paper Vladimir Teplizkiy Foundation of Business Methods Lori Travis 11/01/14 What is the future of driving? Almost 120 years ago, the first car was manufactured. Nowadays, cars are the main on-ground transportation. Although vehicles help people a lot in their full of movement and energy modern life, cars are taking away people’s time, which they spend behind the wheel. Cars are also a means of transportation that is associated with a high chance of life-threatening risks. So how can Google change that? Google’s credo is “Think Bigger,” and they are doing that by coming up with ideas, that are far ahead of our time. Larry Page once said, “We want to build technology that everybody loves using, and that affects everyone. We want to create beautiful, intuitive services and technologies that are so incredibly useful that people use them twice a day. Like they use a toothbrush. There isn’t that many things people use twice a day” (as cited in Carlson, 2011). Google has come up with a project that will change the way people consider driving. The project took its start in 2009 with some of the very best engineers from the DARPA Challenges, a series of autonomous vehicle races organized by the U.S. Government. This project will help to prevent traffic accidents, free up people’s time and reduce carbon emissions by fundamentally changing car use. According to World Health Organization (2013), approximately 1.3 million people...

...have chosen this project because I grew up watching NASCAR every Sunday, and helping with my dad’s best friend’s race car. The thing I was trying to accomplish in this project was to get a better understanding of the background and history of NASCAR. The process I took in accomplishing my goal was writing a rationale, writing down research questions, and finding Wisconsin’s state standards that I would meet in my project. What I hope that the reader takes from this paper is all of the things that helped NASCAR get started, what they raced on back then, and how NASCAR changed over time. In this paper you will read about the prohibition, Bootleggers tricks and advantages[, Bill Frances Sr., history of NASCAR, Technological advancements, racing legends, aerodynamics, How NASCAR got so big and Wisconsin’s traditions. NASCAR has an interesting background. It all started with bootleggers racing from town to town delivering their moonshine without getting caught. NASCAR is linked to American history and it comes with some interesting tales. This paper will tell you everything you need to know about NASCAR and aerodynamics of the car. Some things that this paper will contain are famous drivers and their impact on NASCAR, how safely has changed over time, how NASCAR got started, what NASCAR drivers first raced on and why it changed over time, how NASCAR fit its time period, and how the cars got more aerodynamic. Prohibition: Back in the 1920’s, alcohol became illegal. The Eighteenth amendment...

However, I also think that they would be disappointed in the way we interpret our rights, and rapid degeneration of our natural resources. Out of all of our founding fathers, our early inventors such as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson would be exceptionally happy in American’s ingenuity. Since World War II, the U.S. has led the world in research and development spending; As a result of this investment the United States has continued to lead the world in aerospace, the Internet, computer science, health care, engineering as well as many other industries (Smith). Our world is now interconnected with social media, so that any news can be shared in an instant, and just as fast as information is being shared, new technology is being improved. From radios, to T.V.’s, and movies we now have cell phones that you can do all of that on while texting your friend before coming late to dinner. Our technological advances have shaped everyday life for the modern day American. No longer do we have to purchase the paper to figure out what is going on in the bordering state a few days later. Now, we can read the news from anywhere in the world because of our iPads’ and Kindles’. Thomas Paine wrote in The Rights of Man "Made up as it is of people...

...successful culture that created many inventions and contributed to the advancement of not only the Chinese civilization but also to the civilization of the world. According to Henry Sayre, the Qin Dynasty, which was said to exist from 221BCE until 206 BCE, was the first empire in China to rise to dominance; however, the Han Dynasty was given credit for the most Ancient Chinese contributions and inventions (Sayre, 2012). The Han Dynasty existed from 206 BCE until 220 CE, and during the Han Dynasty contributions and inventions by the Ancient Chinese included: the wheelbarrow, seismograph, paper, compass, map, glazed pottery, hot air balloons, and silk. While the Ancient Chinese made many contributions and inventions for the world, the four most useful are the wheelbarrow, the seismograph, paper, and the map. Today the wheelbarrow is commonly used for farming, gardening, and construction work such as moving dirt, bricks, mulch. It is suitable for many jobs because it allows the weight of the contents to be evenly distributed between the wheel and the operator. For many of the same purposes as we use the wheelbarrow today, the Ancient Chinese invented the wheelbarrow. It served the purpose of transporting things from one place to another that could not easily be one with just one person alone. According to Jeff, the earliest form of the Chinese wheelbarrows was said to be invented by a famous prime minister of the time named Zhuge Liang (Jeff, 2003). There are different...

...revealed that they believe our ancestors from the Paleolithic Era practiced recycling. Research has been found that the earliest cavemen reused their tools over and over and transformed them into new objects. It says a great deal that even our early ancestors could see the value in recycling and reusing objects, that even over four hundred and twenty million years ago cavemen could see the benefits to mankind (Ross, 2013, p.1). I want to prove that recycling should be adopted in a smart, efficient, cost-effective manner in both residential and commercial aspects of our city and all others. I will show from prehistoric times to today that recycling always has been and always will be beneficial to people, animals, and our planet. It is a given fact that our population is growing, resources are scarce, more animals are going extinct, and our planet is slowly dying. This is evident by the thinning ozone layer, deforestation, and greenhouse gases. If it’s not recycled, it gets burned or buried, neither of which is good for the environment. The EPA released a stunning statistic on greenhouse gases stating, “ In 2005, recycling was projected to avoid—through a combination of energy savings, forest carbon sequestration, and lower methane emissions—48 million metric tons of carbon emissions (MTCE), which is a standard measure of GHG emissions. This is the equivalent of taking 36 million cars off the road for one year” and that was in 2005 ( EPA, 2009, p. 1). There are multiple benefits...

...Buying Versus Renting Ashley Mawhorter 1/11/2011 Axia College of University of Phoenix Every American has dreamed of owning their own dream home, whether they are young or old. Still many Americans choose to rent apartments. Why is this? There are many more pros when individuals decide to buy a home. That is why buying a home is a better option than renting an apartment. Jumping right into the first home one sees is also not the proper way to buy a home. Much time and research needs to be done and many things taken into consideration before deciding the best decision. Do I want to have a landlord, or be the landlord? How much can I afford if I choose to buy a home? Where do I want to be located and what style home am I looking for? Are there any pros and cons to buying verse renting? How much would property taxes be yearly? These are all important questions to take into consideration, and that will be covered in paragraphs to come. First and most important is figuring out how much each individual can afford. On ginniemae.gov there are two calculators that can help to determine individual financial status. The first calculator helps individuals to determine the advantages and considerations of owning verse renting a home (http://www.ginniemae.gov). Using the calculator I have come up with an example. If I were renting a home that cost 800 dollars a month and I wanted to buy a house I found for 100,000 I would simply calculate the percentage of down payment, length of...
