...A wall of text is something that is frowned upon in most, actually virtually all Internet societies, including forums, chat boards, and Uncyclopedia. You should not make walls of text because it can get you banned anywhere unless it is a place that encourages walls of text. I highly doubt any place does support something so irritating and annoying, but anything can exist, but not really because unless you are in heaven then that can happen. But no one actually knows that was just a hypothesis, a lame one that is. Actually not really lame. You can create a wall of text supporting site, but you would be hated if you do that, so do not. But you can if you like, but I discourage that. Now on to the actual information of walls of texts. The wall of text was invented when the Internet was invented, but actually it was slow at that time. So whenever it became fast. But there would need to be some free or not free community for people, and that community would be able to have walls of text. But that community probably wouldn't have actually invented the wall of text. So basically, no one except God and Al Gore knows when or where or how the wall of text existed/was invented. Noobs probably invented, but probably not. Who knows. Walls of texts are usually filled with a lot of useless information and junk. Information and junk can be the same, but only if the information is junk or the junk is information. But who cares. The information/junk inside a wall of text are usually related to...

...that I have attended in the past have all required me to use the APA style of writing. As I recall my high school years, the APA style of writing also seemed to be a favorite amongst my high school teachers. They all required that term papers be written in APA style as well. This type of writing actually does not differ much from the ones included in the text reading. The text mentioned the APA style of writing several times. In my opinion, it appears to be the most popular style of writing, especially amongst college students. Based on the results of the quizzes, my grammar skills were actually a little better than average. I actually had expected to do better, but I guess my grammar skills are not as good as I thought they were. In any event I feel very confident when it comes to spelling, as I have always been a great speller. Even in grade school, I was a good speller. I learned at a very young age to challenge myself when it comes to spelling. Challenging my-self in that area really paid off as I became older, as I’ve never had a problem with spelling. However, I feel that I need more help with run on sentences and with thought patterns. Though I proof read my paper several times, it’s hard for me to see that I have several run on sentences until after I get my grade back. In general, I feel that my writing is just mediocre. However, I also believe that when it comes to writing, I am my own worst critic. Reason being, I am never satisfied with my work. I always...

I think my opinion is much different than others, searching for some of my information was not easy many articles we more against letting felons have second chances. Many people think that these people do not change so therefore they should be given limited choices. I am aware that people who do not change will not even put any effort in changing and those who are willing to change will look for jobs and actually try to be somewhat successful. I liked the fact that a lot of interesting thoughts were coming to my mind. I would write about them and search them and i got a lot of information on my topic that i thought i would have not gotten and that was something that was really helpful. Another thing that was really outstanding about my presentation was my wording id say i did well on my wording by trying to make my words stronger....

...Fuller is dead and I went, “Wait a minute!” because I was working with the institute at the time, I went, “This is the guy who said, ‘death is yet --- [Background conversation] So Bucky Fuller 30 years --- [Background conversation] [0:01:47] So Bucky Fuller died 30 years ago and everybody went, “Bucky Fuller’s dead, we should wrap up all the stuff, put it in an archive.” And I went, “Wait a minute! This is the guy who said, ‘this is not me, this is yesterday’s breakfast. And when this is gone doesn’t mean I am gone, it means that you need to find other ways to communicate with me.’” And I actually just got an email yesterday from a woman who said, “Oh! I’ve been dreaming about Bucky Fuller and I actually saw him in the mall the other day.” And I am like, “Whoa! This is pretty interesting she’s in Australia.” And I think that his influence is like everywhere. [0:02:27] What I decided was that I was going to do -- that he had conducted a 56 year experiment to determine and document what one individual could achieve that could not be accomplished by any religion, government, organization of any kind. So it’s basically what one man can do and he documented it and I said, “Well, when somebody does an experiment, you don’t just archive it away. You actually examine it.” So that’s what I’d spent the last 30 years doing literally. And doing what he told us to do, which is what all the great teachers say, they all say, don’t believe a word I say, don’t believe a word I wrote, right...

...happens for a reason. I believe in the idea of timing. I realize that our experiences shape us. They make us who we are, and we would not be who we are without them. In life, we learn to accept the decisions we make, and we call them decisions rather than mistakes because they are all part of the master plan that develop us into who we will eventually be when we die? I do not know. When do we become who we are? Are we always becoming and never being? Or is that the secret? Do we spend all our time trying to become and never pay attention to the fact that we actually are all along the way? If everything is an important and significant experience in our constant formation, then nothing could be a mistake; it is always just an experience. I am a skeptic of this belief. I think there is such a thing as wasted time. And if time were wasting, then every second of that time would be a mistake in the making. Though I have been positive and happy with every experience I have had, I know there are people in the world whose lives are nearing an end, and they live with regret. It is something I hope never to know. I pray that I will do everything I can to be aware of myself, my life, my feelings – to be as honest as I can be so that I never have to look back on this life and think, “I wasted so much time. I wish I had done this. I wish I had done that." I have always wished I had not lived in as much fear as I have- as much fear as I do. Now that I am aware of this, I hope to stop it because...

...Explained Transcript Major Principles Frank Williams Professor, University of Houston – Downtown My approach to social process theories is pretty simple. It is – it’s mostly a suyggestion that process means how people come to be deviant, delinquent, or whatever act you ma be talking about. So social process suggests that we’re going to focus on the social aspects of that – the coming deviant, delinquent, whatever we might do in criminology in particular. So we would be talking about things that affect individuals rather than things that affect large groups of people or society in general. They’re not interested in pieces of social structure and how they influence people. So it’s going to be, in one sense, pretty simple things, simple things like attachments one has to another person, so social relationships. And in fact that’s where, if we want to go to social processes in its beginning, that’s where we really start. So relationships with people, relationships with family, which of course if a form of people, too, even relationships you may have in school, those kinds of things. Mostly though it’s – in terms of social we’re going to be talking about language, what gets communicated, um, how people see people and reactions to that and so forth. Intro to Chicago School Frank Williams Professor, University of Houston – Downtown One of the things maybe to begin with would be the work of what we call the old Chicago school. And that’s a period of time about 1900 to...

...I live in England, but we moved to Dubai because my family wanted to live together. Since my Dad's always the priority – we moved to Dubai. It was all great. Apparently, the school we went to was crap – which it was. So one my parents be like, "We've been thinking about moving to Cameroon. Thoughts?" And it seemed okay. Until we found out that it wouldn't take 3 months to build the house. It would take 6-9 months. It's even harder now. My Dad needed a job, so he went to England – with my sister, who's education was practically ruined due to Dubai and Cameroon. I remember my Mother saying time and time again, that she didn't want to stay here whilst my Dad went to England for a long time, whilst we stayed here. Well look where we are now?...

...sentence for a murderer? I will be discussing in my essay whether Capital Punishment should stay abolished or be reintroduced after 38 years since the punishment was banned. Capital punishment is a form of taking someone's life in order to repay for the crime that they have committed. There are many different methods of doing this, for example a few of them are such things as The Electric Chair, Hanging, Stretching, Stoning. Since 1965 people have been saying that Capital Punishment should be reintroduced. I will be stating most of the reasons these people give in the next few paragraphs. One of these reasons is the fact that prisons are getting overcrowded in England. There are over two thousand convicted persons serving life sentences in our prisons today, therefore if we were to reintroduce Capital Punishment we could resolve these problems by sentencing the people who would at present be sent to prison for life to the death penalty as a punishment for doing wrong. Another common point that is made is that with so many people in our prisons it actually costs us money due to taxing. And as I said before prisons are overcrowded plus every person serving a life sentence costs £400-£1000 each per week depending on the amount of security that they need and this is coming out of money that we work hard for. So without all those criminals we would be living better lives due to the fact that we would have more money. In addition...

...is the problem? MICHAEL PORTER: Well, the problem is I think we've gotten into a very vicious cycle in thinking about the relationship between business and society. And really, the purpose of capitalism, and the benefits of the capitalist system to society, and to meeting society's needs-- needs like improving people's lives, and improving the health of communities. We've gotten into a cycle where, I think, business has evolved and thinking about business management has evolved, in a direction that we've narrowed the scope of how you create economic value. And increasingly, companies are being perceived as creating profit at the expense of the community, not creating profit that actually ultimately benefits the communities. As a result of this, I think government has increasingly seen business as a problem, as a source of bad things in society. And the mindset is becoming increasingly to regulate, to control, to tax. And ultimately, now often political leaders are unable to pursue business-friendly public policies, because the political environment almost forces them to be tough on business. Despite the fact that we know at some deep level, business and society need each other. But we've kind of gotten ourselves into a bad place. ADI IGNATIUS: But, I think a lot of business people would argue, what we do is run businesses, and we make profits. And when we're successful we hire people. And that's all we can do. To have an agenda beyond that is really outside of our scope....

...identify the problem. With this step, you must first figure out what the problem actually is so that you can begin to start the process of solving it. The second step to problem solving is discovering the causes as to why you have this problem. Figuring out what is causing the problem will help you figure out where to go from that point. Step three is options. Figure out some options that you can take to solve the problem that you are facing. There are so many options you may have to solving the problem; you would want to narrow it down to the best option. That brings us to number four on the problem-solving list. Evaluating the best option to solve the problem. The very last step you will want to take to solve the problem is to act. Now you have defined what the problem is, figured out what is actually causing the problem, suggested some options and chose the best solution for it, so now all you need to do is apply the option that you chose. In my life my biggest challenge today is finding the time to work out. For the past two years I have steadily worked out at the gym every day. So I know what the problem is, and now I need to figure out what is causing this roadblock in my life. Since moving to a new state, I cannot seem to get focused back to where I once was. The issues are, maybe I am just being lazy, and tired, or maybe I’m just not motivated anymore. Being in the gym for two years can be exhausting after a while. I can blame this on all sorts of reasons...

...Dazzler or duck? This question was posted to me by one of my form teacher in primary school. When I got this question, I was rather puzzled. A dazzler? A duck? I went on searched for the true meanings of this question. After a while, I realized that a dazzler is actually an extrovert and a duck is an introvert. First of all, let me explain what a dazzler and a duck are. A dazzler is a person or thing that dazzles, in particular a person who is overwhelmingly impressive or skillful. A duck is a person predominantly concerned with their own thoughts and feelings rather than with external things. I did not answer this question as I was not certain of myself. I did not know whether I was an extrovert and introvert. Hence, I decided to put this question aside. When I was thinking of a topic to write for my journal entry, this question just popped up in my head. Is there a right or wrong answer in this particular question? Will be deemed stupid if I gave an acceptable answer? These questions raced through my head as I did not know what to do. I guessed I am a bit of both maybe more to the duck side. When I am alone or with my good friends, I tend to be a ‘duck’ listening to what the others are saying. However, when I have to answer questions aloud, I will be a ‘dazzler’ speaking my answers with confidence, most of the time. After some time, I realized that they are actually no right and wrong answer in this question. This question is about your personality. Whether you...
