I believed this was a good quote in writing this paper on my Field Experience Reflection observation #1. Here in order for educators to have an effective plan for his or her lesson, or unit of lessons, we must first determine what we want the students to achieve. For example, in history, we want them to understand situations in the past and achieve the standards that are given to us by the state. However for Math we need to look at how we will be able to determine if the student understood the material and if they are able to synthesize their thoughts into a complete product. Second, in doing this paper I am also showing how the educator was able to decide the various ways he wanted the students in this class to produce, comprehend, and process information that was being taught in the Math material.
