...even kids in elementary school that are supposively “dating”. When it comes to a first date, my mom said when she was my age the guy would take her out to a fancy restaurant or a movie. The guy would ring the doorbell to get her and then have to speak to her parents first before they left. Sometimes on dates the guy would buy her flowers or a gift of some sort. And of course the guy would always pay for whatever they did. Now when it comes to dating, instead of going out somewhere nice, the girl is usually stuck at her date’s house. Doing nothing. Because the guy either doesn’t have money or doesn’t care about the girl enough to spend the money. Also, instead of being a gentlemen and coming to the door to get the girl, he would wait in his car and text her saying “here”. How most people met each other back then was through school, work, or maybe even parties. Meeting was always face-to-face because there was really no other way of doing it. But now I would say about 75% of relationships happen because of the internet. Everyone meets each other on Facebook. Which is pretty horrible because you don’t know the person you’ll be going on a date with. Back then there weren’t any lies. What you saw was what you got. People didn’t pretend to be someone they’re not like they do now. Then it comes to meeting the parents. Back then it was a must to meet the girl’s parents...

...Book Review: Nice Guys Can Get the Corner Office What is this book about? In the book Nice Guy Can Get the Corner Office, the author challenged the adage “Nice guys finish last.” He believed that a guy can be nice and successful at business at the same time. The subtitle would tell us better about what’s in this book: "Eight Strategies for Winning in Business without Being a Jerk." The author defines “nice” as a constructive and consciously chosen approach to relationships that is founded on: * Attempting to optimize outcomes for both others and ourselves * Striving to balance assertiveness with cooperation to achieve a spirit of collaboration * Honoring the value and strength of others and ourselves * Seeking optimal outcomes for everyone involved by emphasizing truthfulness and authenticity * Opening confronting challenges and disagreements and embracing the innovation-promoting benefits of constructive idea conflict The author also defines “success in business” as need are fulfilled—individual’s need as well as the needs of others. The authors surveyed more than 350 nice guys and found out that most of them are “too nice”. And these overly nice guys are always struggling between “eager to please others” (being too nice) and “fulfill their own needs (being successful in business).” This book gives eight strategies to help those overly nice guys balance being nice and being a jerk when achieving success. These eight strategies consists of eight rights...

...Black blazer. Because you must have one. Speak people, is everything okay with you? I'm missing the point about style and pointing out a few things. I'm here excited to make a fuck post about a play that I truly believe every man should have. A black blazer . Personally , the black blazer is a key piece in the wardrobe of any guy who pulls out of things. At least a minimum. ...“You’re going to make her wait, and when she’s finally happy with ME you come barging into her life again?!” Jiho shouted as he shoved at his brother. Me and Jiho was at some café when Taewoon showed up, he asked if we could talk. But Jiho thought otherwise Taewoon fell on the floor but got up immediately throwing a punch on Jiho’s face then grabbed him by the collar. “She loved ME first! If it wasn’t for you, she’d still do!” “She loves ME now. Two years Hyung! Two fucking years you made her suffer, and I was the one cleaning up your mess I won’t give her up, I can’t!” I can’t take this anymore! “Stop both of you! Stop it right now!” I shouted, tears streaming down my face. I can’t stand them fighting like this, hurting each other like this. But they can’t seem to hear me. Why is this happening? How did it come to this? I asked this a lot to myself “am I crazy?” then I’d always answer myself, “yeah, yeah you are” I guess having a one sided crush to someone who doesn’t even know your existence, AND daydreaming about how you guys could get married someday IS crazy. I first saw Him one day at the grocery store nearby our house, he was picking between spicy ramen and seafood ramen at the instant noodles section, and I happened to be running an errand for my brother “I seriously NEED to eat ramen sis!” I was picking seafood ramen when my dream guy asked me out of the blue “Hey miss which tastes better? Seafood or spicy” I couldn’t reply...

We had also learned Spanish at home, so we could communicate with people on the street and in stores. The first day we went to a Christian church in Spain. We would see the churches in spain and see what differences there were the Danish churches and Spanish churches. After we had been in the church, we were hungry, so we went out to eat. We found a turkey restaurant near our motel. On the way over to the restaurant, we meet a Spanish man, whom sat down on the floor. He sang a romantic song in India. He was so lonely on the floor while singing. I felt sorry for him. I walked towards him and sat down beside him. He looked at me and smiled. You know we will have a good time then.” Daniel replied. Why doesn’t he spend a little time on me? I was asking him to teach me how to throw a ball but he said no. If he could spend only 15 minutes to be with me, that would be more than enough for me. I smiled at him and walked away. I wondered does he love me, as his only child. He often comes home late at night and time with him was considered a scarcity. 5 minutes is quite a privilege. I go back to dad’s house, tidy up all his stuffs. ...following two weeks, I learned the trade, digging trenches, taping windows, and hauling drums of paint around houses in San Diego. Danny had rented an apartment for the workers with mattresses on the floors and food in the fridge. It was tough work and hot in the California summer sun and my pay just covered my room and board and not much else. However, I told myself that I would not be doing this forever and that the plan was to set up operations on the West Coast before going back east with the product. Danny said we were going to LA for the weekend to visit his brother in the Valley and we could discuss our project in more depth. Driving to the San Fernando Valley in the van we arrived at Danny’s brothers around dinner time, we stopped just long enough to go to the bathroom and meet Danny’s brother. We then loaded into his brother’s car and since we had left the crew in San Diego, it was just me, Danny and Rudy, his brother. He was straight out of the 50’s driving a 57 Chevy convertible that was very clean. Rudy said we were traveling to Hollywood to party and that we could catch up on the way. Junior, Danny’s older brother, ran the show out of San Diego but appeared to be semi-retired, and Rudy was the one in charge of the business. We...
