I am keenly interested in the human resources compliance administrator position that is currently being advertised on iJet International. My previous compliance, human resources, and administrative background, as well as my degree in business administration, make me an excellent candidate for this opportunity.

I have managed a financial institution’s compliance program, property insurance and bond policies, vendor contracts, and was the records retention manager for all documents. I have completed payroll duties, planned and participated in employee onboarding and training, and the reconciliation of accounts. I specialize in organizing committee meetings and large, complex events that require a great deal of planning and adherence to protocol.

Hr Organization and Design

...533-Human Resource in Management Dr. Andrew McLeod May 15, 2016 Human Resource Organization Design An efficiently run human resources department can provide an organization with structure and the ability to meet business needs through managing the organization’s most valuable resources—its employees. This internally coherent system, or a business within a business, must be aligned with the mission and objectives of the organization (Becker & Huselid, 1999). Therefore, the human resources department must work closely with management and understand the organization’s goals. The human resource department is responsible for analyzing the entire organization so it can propose proper adjustments to management for increased efficiency, production, and financial success (Ulrich, Younger, & Brockbank, 2008). The Typical Human Resource Department While the structure of the human resources department might vary from organization to organization, there are six essential functions of any human resources department no matter how big or small: recruitment, safety, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and training and development (Mayhew, 2016). Human Resources Director The Human Resources Director influences and administers the overall provision of the Human Resources Department. This includes but is not limited to services, policies, and programs for the entire company. Some of the roles and responsibilities of the Human Resources Director...

Nurse Administrator Role Analysis

...A comparison among the nurse manager, administrator, and executive roles; reveals that there are several common skills and competencies required in practice for all three roles. Proficiency in areas such as business, budgeting, human resources, and finances are all imperative in exercising any one of these roles. (Greenwood, 2015). Likewise, the American Organization of Nurse Executives (2011) puts forth a list of five competency domains which are applicable for nurses in leadership and management positions across the board. (p. 3). Furthermore, the credentialing and certification process currently in place for nursing leaders and managers does not differentiate between a nurse manager and administrator; instead, it is defined as being a certification for Nurse Executives. (American Nurses Credentialing Center [ANCC], 2015). However, it is important to highlight the fact that the ANCC does offer two level of certifications: The Nurse Executive (NE-BC) and Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) which differ from one-another primarily in the eligibility criteria for certification. Despite some common ground, there are significant differences that are inherent for each role in practice. The divergence among the roles primarily resides in the specific position that the leader may hold within any organization. Some of...

The purpose of this department in the health care industry is to accomplish and guide the company to a productive path. In addition, to consolidate the core of the company by recruitment and selection of employees, training and development, employee relations, labor relations, and offering them compensation and benefits, risk management, performance management, and regulatory compliance. The human resources department’s most vital responsibility is to find the best and most candidate individual for the hiring positions in the health care setting. Once an organization has determined their employment needs, the facility will hire the best employees to occupy the needed positions. The hiring process is conducted in three components: recruitment, selection, and socialization. “The health care industry encounters numerous challenges, ranging from economic demands and regulatory compliance issues, to industry consolidation, and a shortage of certified professionals” (Hauff, 2007). ...content of an access request. The submitter must sign the request and indicate which systems the new user will need access to and what level of access will be needed. A manager’s approval is required to grant administrator level access.” There are procedures for creating new user account profiles. HIPPA requires that an Information Security Officer (ISO) must be assigned to the network account profiles. This appointed person(s) is usually the network or system security administrator of the organization. Once this role is assigned, the security administrator can create network profiles and assign the new user to such specified profile. The network profiles are implemented in accordance with least privilege access. This means that data intended for use will only be available to the specified profile. This method protects the privacy of the data during transmission. This process complies with the 4 standard Federal regulatory requirements stated in this policy: FISMA, HIPAA/HITECH, GLBA, and PCI-DSS. Once the network account profiles are created, a new user is created and assigned. To implement a strong access control measure, a unique user identifier must be assigned to the new user account. Before the new user account is activated, the network or security administrator will need to validate the identity of the person receiving the new user account. Individuals should allow anyone to use his or her account. This process complies with the PCI-DSS standard. Proper training will...
