In every aspect of project management there is a varying range of goals. Depending on the size of the project determines how it is organized in structure. For instance, a smaller project would only consist of a project manager and project team; whereas a larger project would consist of more common roles such as a primary sponsor, stakeholder, project managers, facilitators, and clients. ...peoples’ stories warrant justifiable consideration, it is questionable to me as to whether the explanations of others are the truth. This is a difficult topic for me, and I believe that it would be difficult for most people. I did not realize that this book entailed actually taking a drug. This totally weirded me out. According to this book, it seems as though middle management is a bit ignored as long as they do their job acceptably. The Leadership Pill was a good book and not only made me think, it made me learn. These people wonder whether or not such a pill would be a miracle or a hindrance. It made me smile a bit when it spoke of its various hypothetical drug interactions. How nice it would be to simply be able to take a Leaderhip Pill, and then have everything work well. However, some people like me have a weird fear of drugs and would be afraid to take anything, well, at all. ( I would hate to see myself as a resistant old person. I hate taking my vitamins as it is. ) I really am glad that I was able to take this class. There are so many that I am required to take that just take the joy out of my life and make me question my sanity. I do not understand how anyone could have any sort of passion about finance. I often wonder if there is anyone else who wanted a marketing masters but was forced to take this path instead. I am so thankful for the occasional person I can believe in and with whom I can connect....

Lastly, I will create a list of leadership best practices. Hybrid Theory/ Philosphy 3 In creating a hybrid theory/ philosphy, I had to put a considerable amount of thought into it and the result was everything in business is driven by people. I will begin by definining what is considered to be the new definition of entrepreneurial leadership. According to Fernard and Soloman (2003), Entreprenurial leadership is one of an enterprising, transformational leader who operates in a dynamic market that offers lucrative opportunities. With this being said, to be successful starting a business it will take continuous innovation and creativity because the mindset has to be “what is good for our customers today, will not be good for our customers...

...------------------------------------------------- Interpersonal Skills for Leaders Leadership involves influencing people, so it follows that many effective leadership attitudes, behaviors and practices deal with interpersonal relationships. Team-based organizations need leaders who are knowledgeable in the team process and can help with the interpersonal demands of teams. “Communicating effectively as a leader is not only required, it is expected for leading others. However, many leaders miss the mark on connecting with their followers because of lack of interest in other's ideas and opinions, out dated management styles, and the inability to work with others. Great leaders consistently strive to strengthen their interpersonal communication competencies by building and maintaining open, supportive, and collaborative relationships with others in the organization (Required, 2011).” According to answers.com (2011), interpersonal skills can be defined as the skills used by a person to properly interact with others. In the business domain, the term generally refers to an employee's ability to get along with others while getting the job done. ...1.0 Introduction Leadership can be defined as the process in which leaders influence their followers to achieve predefined organisational goals (Yukl, 2010). A leader is a person who the subordinates look up to for advices, guidance and also to make decisions which will benefit not only the ones directly involved, but everybody else as well. A leader is an important figure in an organisation because the way the subordinates perform will be the reflection of their leader’s calibre. Therefore, to ensure employees and other staff members to behave and comply with business ethics, the leader must set a good example to them by being ethical. This can also be known as ethical leadership. Brown, Trevino & Harrison (2005) has defined ethical leadership as it being the demonstration of normatively appropriate conduct, shown through personal actions and interpersonal relationships and also the promotion of those conduct to the followers via a two-way communication, reinforcement and decision making. With that definition, it can be said that leaders play a very important role in ensuring that their subordinates behave and act ethically because they are their role model and whatever they do or say are being watched by their subordinates, whether they are aware of it or not. Subordinates, employees, they all watch how their leader acts and react both consciously and unconsciously (Huhtala, Kangas, Lamsa & Feldt, 2011), thus picking up habits and also making their leaders’ actions into...
