Top 3 most pressured situations in school
The concept of the list is the ironic and twisted way of thinking and acting as a student, when in a pressured situation at school. The list is made to give students a “wake-up-call” from the way they act, and to make them start realizing that school is not that hard and bad.
3. The “last minute assignment”
It is a popular situation. You have got an assignment to do for the next day, though the wall is so much more interesting to look at than your blank paper of doom. You catch yourself staring into the wall, or going to the kitchen to get food over and over again, but nothing happens to your assignment. It is an eternal blank page of boringness. The letters just will not magically appear on it. Then the classic “screw this!” reaction comes to mind. You write a lot of useless junk, which is not even right and deliver it, only to get a really bad grade that you are probably going to cry about at night. This happens to students all over the world, and it is what brings the world to its end. Maybe 2012 is not just a prank.
2. The “I am not prepared” situation
This happens every day for students all over the world. Yesterday ruined it all, your favorite TV-show was airing non-stop, and you end up in class tired as hell, with nothing to say. Suddenly your teacher asks you if you are ready make your presentation. You sit tongue-tied for a few seconds, though afterwards you man up, and tell the teacher you are ready, and you are going to kick ass! As you walk the steps of evil on your way to the drawing board, you think about what you are going to say, and that it is going to be amazing! The teacher will sit with tears in his eyes and grant you a giant applause! Though when you start talk, it is a constant mumbling about stuff you don’t have the slightest sense of what is. When you are done, you feel like you have done great,

Describe How To Make A List Research Paper

...Every year more than one-third of Americans (35%) take a vacation somewhere around the world. Unless you just pick up and leave you are going to need to pack to make this trip more enjoyable, but along with packing comes stress. From personal experience I find packing very overwhelming but with a little help it can be a quick and easy process. Start off with making a list. Creating a list can ensure you don't leave out and important items that could cause any stress when arriving to your special destination. List clothing, toiletries, accessories, electronics, and some things to do when you have down time. Firstly, you should start with the clothing you are going to pack; clothes that will make you feel comfortable in a warm environment. If you are going to go hiking make sure you bring lots of tank tops and shorts and along with that tennis shoes so your feet are comfortable. If you are going to go to the beach or hang around pool side make sure you bring lots of bathing suits. Bring extra so when you are at the pool or beach the other pairs could be air drying back at the hotel. For going out to dinner pack more casual because when you are at the beach you don't really get dressed up. Men can wear button down shirts and Women can wear dresses....

Case Study

...Bijesh Palikhe 171474 Management information system Case study on Terrorists Watch List Database Pg # 187 Summary From this case study we have found out that combined efforts towards counter terrorism are being made by various agencies by creating a terrorist watch list. Terrorist Screening center or TSC is the organization created to organize and standardize information about suspected terrorist from various government agencies such into a single list. Records there only contain sensitive but unclassified information about the suspects. The database is daily updated with new nominations, modification and deletion. Various agencies that provide the valuable information to TSC are FBI, CIA, National Security Agency, Transportation security administration, Department of Homeland Security, State Department, Customs and Border Protection, secret service, U.S. Marshall Service, and the Whitehouse airlines. The unification of various terrorism databases has been a huge step towards combating terrorists, the project has been quite slow in implementing itself to its full potential as information from 12 different agencies provides them with large amount of data and the TSC has not been able to process it all. Besides the huge database the modification made daily also makes it hard for them in the integration process. Even though this step makes great difference in countering terrorism, it still has many drawbacks that affect the innocent public too. Reports from both the government...

Procrastination

...or work on because it does not seem as important as other issues. I choose to write on this topic for this very reason. If I do not work on it I will continue to procrastinate and this issue will not be addressed. Procrastination is also hindering my school and work performance to a fault in that my grades and work performance could be much better if I just completed assignments diligently and on time. This is also an issue of organization for me because when I do not do things on time then assignments and deadlines pile up. When I decided to deal with my procrastination I did not realize how difficult and demanding it would be. For example I had to make a list of all the things I needed to get done that day and the list was long, but the tough part was when I finished with the items on the list it was again time to make another list, and so on and so forth. So the process, at the beginning, was very overwhelming. However, having a schedule prevented things like homework and work deadlines from piling up and leading to reduced performance. For this project I picked up the self-help book The Procrastinator’s Handbook by Rita Emmett which not only discusses methods to reduce procrastination but also gives a deeper explanation for why we procrastinate. The first point Emmitt stresses is what she calls “tackling the dread” which essentially means understanding why we procrastinate. For most people procrastination happens more often when doing chores or assignments that we do not like...

It is often used to store objects that are to be processed sequentially. Arrays An array is an indexed set of variables, such as dancer[1], dancer[2], dancer[3],… It is like a set of boxes that hold things. A list is a set of items. An array is a set of variables that each store an item. Arrays and Lists You can see the difference between arrays and lists when you delete items. Arrays and Lists In a list, the missing spot is filled in when something is deleted. Arrays and Lists In an array, an empty variable is left behind when something is deleted. What’s wrong with Array and Why lists? • Disadvantages of arrays as storage data structures: – slow searching in unordered array – slow insertion in ordered array – Fixed size • Linked lists solve some of these problems • Linked lists are general purpose storage data structures and are versatile. Linked Lists A Head B C  • A linked list is a series of connected nodes • Each node contains at least – A piece of data (any type) – Pointer to the next node in the list • Head: pointer to the first node • The last node points to NULL node A data pointer The composition of a Linked List • A linked list is called "linked" because each node in the series has a pointer that points...
