The first chapter is dedicated to the discussion of some theoretical questions, connected with our investigation. Thus, we touch on the problems of nomination in general, types of nomination. The second chapter is dedicated to the analyses of the repeated nomination, its functional types and the ways of its handling in the translation. Your Story I live by three basic principals; actions speak louder than words, kill people with kindness, and success is a journey and not a destination. These three principals have guided me through and have been my inspiration during the good and bad times. My mother’s death three and a half years ago to breast cancer has inspired me to dig deeper and apply these principles everyday to the best of my ability. I was born into a very active and outdoorsy family. I spent my childhood outside. My father taught me how to appreciate nature through gardening, camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and many other activities. Basically if it had to do with the outdoors we were involved. As I became old enough to participate in sports, there was not a season where I was not involved. Volleyball, track, softball, basketball, and even...

...It is a true pleasure to write this nomination letter for Bailey Wilson, who is applying for the Triad Scholarship. I have known Ms. Wilson for the past year where I have served as her academic advisor. She has also been a student in one of my animal science courses. During her time at OSU, Ms. Wilson has revealed her superior capabilities as a student. In addition, she’s proven her understanding of volunteerism, community service, and fellowship. From an academic perspective, Bailey has flourished in her animal science courses and maintained an impressive GPA. It is quite clear that the rigors of Bailey’s Pre-Veterinary coursework have not hindered her academic performance or her participation in student activities. Currently, she is highly...

The long history of language studying shows the interest of scientists to determine the issue of basic language functions, which inevitably include the nominative one. As a primary language function, the nominative function assumes the language system ability to designate and to isolate fragments of reality, transferring their notions into words, word combinations, idioms and sentences. The dynamic development of cognitive and communicative activities of human society and, as a result, the emergence of new realities, artifacts, objects of material and...

...US politics pack quotes -Image of Conventions, no policy discussion. -*Need popular policies for the vote* - Trump/Obama style > substance (previous “public figure). Success in polls. 'Too long, too expensive and too dominated by the style over substance.' Evaluate this view of the U.S. Presidential Nomination Process. (30 marks) The presidential nomination process begins with the electoral systems of primaries and caucuses. These require voters to choose who they think should represent their chosen party in the presidential election. Firstly, invisible primaries are the period between when a candidate announces their bid for public office and when the actual primaries themselves take place. It is said to be a very important in the election process as candidates acquire suitable funding and recognition and combine together to form a strong pre-campaign. This is important, as gaining these factors can put a stronghold in the polls before the primaries take place (e.g. businessman Donald Trump’s “successes” in the polls so far during 2015.) After candidates have gone through the “money primary” (invisible primary) stage, the next process is the actual nomination of candidates through primaries and sometimes caucuses (A primary, however, is a state-held election which involves the selection of a party’s candidate for the presidential battle for the White House, it requires ordinary voters and chooses delegates committed to vote for that candidate at...

...Presidential nominating conventions take place in the summer of an election year. The main task is to select the party’s presidential nominee, even that in all recent contests one candidate has already emerged from the nomination process with a clear majority of delegates and wins the nomination on the first ballot. To get the nomination, a candidate needs the support of a majority of the delegates, and if no candidate receives a majority after the first round of voting at the convention, the voting has to continue until someone does. After the delegates nominate a presidential candidate, he chooses a vice-presidential nominee, who has to be ratified by the delegates. The normal performance of the nominations used to have a pattern, in which there is a frontrunner that is leader in the early public opinion polls and has raised a large amount of money, and goes on to win the nomination. In a less common scenario, the leader falters and is replaced by another candidate, and in third place it could happen that in the political party, there is no clear frontrunner but in fact, a number of more contenders vying for the nomination. In another variant, it happens that two strong candidates may battle it out over the entire course of the presidential primaries and caucuses. The final purpose of a convention is to attract public attention, to make it a...

...In society, there are a lot of judges and people of power who do not act fairly or consistently in line with their beliefs. Judge Pickering, however, was always just in his rulings. While working as a district judge, he stood up for civil rights and race relations and always strove for proportional sentences when convicting groups who committed the same or similar crimes. He gave time and dedication to the cases he worked on and tried to always follow the accurate court procedures without letting his own interests and opinions get in the way. However, his nomination for a position on the Fifth Circuit brought many liberal activists to the front line of opposition. Regardless of the outstanding record Pickering had as a judge, Far Left special interests groups attacked his reputation, manipulating his cases and statements into false reasons for opposition to his appointment. They tried to point him out as being soft to racial issues and a threat to women’s rights due to his anti-abortion views. Many of Pickering’s past supporters, even though they knew the truth of his record, would not assist in getting him the required votes; they allowed the Far Left groups to use him as a target in their first attempts to fight to keep republicans, conservatives, out of the circuit. It was their trial for their ultimate goal of going after Supreme Court nominees. After Pickering’s second trial in which he was viciously attacked by questions he was barely given a chance to answer, it was...
