If drug prohibition laws were repealed, these activities would obviously cease to be crimes. Next, many users commit crimes, such as robbery, dealing, prostitution, and running numbers to earn money to support their habits. If marijuana was less expensive and easier to obtain, which would be the case if it were legalized, the crimes committed under these circumstances would dramatically decline. The third drug-crime link is drug trafficking. Without prohibition laws, those people trying to make a living by selling and distribution would not be thrown in jail. Support for legalizing marijuana is at its highest level in 30 years (USA Today/CNN/Gallup Poll). Since 1996, voters in eight states have passed initiatives supporting marijuana for medical purposes at least. Polls show more than 70% of voters support medical marijuana. For this purpose 4 year data on 30 banks is included in this research paper. The empirical results based on the correlational analysis of the relationship between weighted average rate of interest and 10 independent variables which are credit risk, amount of deposit, administrative cost, profit margins, bank's liquidity, amount of loan, market share, inflation rate, macroeconomic conditions and bank specific factors. These variables will help to highlight customer reaction towards variation in interest rates which help banks to review their policies regarding interest rates, margins and risk premium. The results shows that credit risk, administrative costs, profit margins and deposit amounts are important factors for the interest rate determination and these are positively related with interest rate. Bank's liquidity and deposit amount have negative relationship with interest rate. Meanwhile, inflation and market share have no significant relationship with interest rate fluctuations. On January 15, 2015, RealityTrac, one of the nation’s leading reporters of housing data, declared the foreclosure crisis had ended. SCOTT The article begins with a brief definition of the cultural economy. A first generation of local economic development policy approaches based on place marketing and associated initiatives is described. The possibilities of a more powerful second-generation approach are then sketched out with special emphasis on localized complexes of cultural-products industries. An extensive review and classification of these complexes is laid out, and their inward and outward relations to global markets are considered. On this basis, a critical discussion of local economic policy options focused on cultural-products industries is offered. Contrasting examples of development initiatives in major global cities, in selected old manufacturing towns, and in the Multimedia Super Corridor of Malaysia are briefly presented. It is suggested that the growth and spread of localized production agglomerations based on cultural-products industries are leading not to cultural uniformity but to greatly increased diversity at the global level.
