Perth Arena Project
Overview of Issues * The Perth Arena project started in 2007. It was a political nightmare from day one. Issues quickly arose due to a lack of leadership, vision, communication and collaboration between the stakeholders. Problems also occurred because of a significant change in the scope and poor project briefing. * Due to this growing list of concerns the Department of Treasury made the decision to replace the current superintendent. * During our analysis we managed to speak with an employee who worked under the previous superintendent who characterised this person as an ineffective leader.
