Well let’s take a look; Nucleus RTOS is a real-time operating system (RTOS) and toolset created by the Embedded Systems Division of Mentor Graphics for various central processing unit (CPU) platforms. It’s estimated to be running on over 2.11 billion devices around the world. On Nucleus Applications are compiled to run on various target CPU architectures and tested using the actual target boards or in simulation environment. Business Impact Analysis

...Business Impact Analysis 12/1/2012 The Business Impact Analysis (BIA) is the key concept used by the organization as a tool when developing Business Continuity Plans (BCP). The purpose of the BIA is to gather business information in an effort to understand the importance of the different functions of the organization (Johnson, R. (2011). It serves as the foundation for which an effective BCP can be developed and implemented. The BIA will identify and quantify business related impacts during a loss, disruption, or interruption of processes or functions within the organization. With effective implementation, the organization will be able to recover its operations under any circumstance or condition. Component Priority In conducting you BIA some limitations should be made. In order to gather required information you should be able to schedule interviews with each department to assess critical functions within that department. It is important to interview people that know functions and processes of that department. There are two methods that can be utilized to gather information on critical processes and functions. One method would be to conduct surveys among people within each business unit. Caution should be used here as random people selected for the survey may not understand the critical functions of the business. It will, on the other hand give some insight as to what employees think are important to operations. Another method available would...

...What does it take to get attention for IT initiatives in today's enterprise? In most cases, according to Symantec Senior Director Jennie Grimes, it means making a compelling business case—and getting the right information to the right people in the right language. | IT risk management initiatives are definitely worthy of executive attention. Our economy is increasingly dependent on the Internet and IT systems, making the risks in these systems far more visible and significant than ever. But, it's a discipline with a myriad of stakeholders: CIOs, CISOs, enterprise risk management teams, compliance and regulation staff, and internal and external auditors. Step #1: Choose your words wisely  There are two types of CIOs—infrastructure managers and strategic thinkers. The latter will succeed with their IT risk management agenda because they speak in terms of business advantages, not outages. For example, rather than talking about a "zero day threat," consider simulating the impact of a potential incident in terms of potential business loss. Instead of talking about RTOs and RPOs, speak in terms of lost revenue and customers during an outage. Instead of highlighting unimplemented ISO controls, speak about the lost effectiveness of employees who need to share information both inside and outside the firewall. It also doesn't hurt to point out the impact on productivity when employees can't effectively share information effectively.    Step #2: Use a High-Medium-Low spectrum of...
