Running cross country can be a very hard sport to do well at. There are many different Techniques you need to succeed. First off you need to have proper arm control, your arms have to be at right angles swinging them to your chin and back. Second you need to keep your head straight and your breathing controlled. Breath in through the nose and out from the mouth. Third when you start the race you can't use all your energy right away. You need to pace yourself throughout the whole race, start off slow and then pick up the pace. Lastly, you have to know how to pass people at the final stretch. When you are in second and you're close to the first place runner stay behind him till the final sprint to pass him at the end. In conclusion running cross
