I am writing this memo to provide you a summary of our Target teamwork for this semester.

In order to better targeting the Target case this year, our team has created a rewards program for Target.com. The rewards program includes the Tiered Membership Program and the choice for customers to sync with Facebook accounts when they log on Target.com. I thought overall our team did a good job. According to The Five Dysfunctions of a Team from Patrick Lencioni’s book, I thought there was no fear of conflict or inattention to results among our team members.

If there was adequate communication among team members, it meant there was no fear of conflict. At the beginning of the semester, since everyone had different options, we discussed a lot about everyone’s ideas by comparing the pros and cons for each idea until everyone agreed. We always discussed ideas seriously but we also joked around at the end of the meetings, so that the whole meeting circumstances were confortable and there was no fear of conflict at all.

All the team members were looking for a good result, so there was no inattention to result. During the process of writing Target report, we not only did the editing, but also went to our instructor’s office hours several times for advices. We reorganized our reports at least three times, and personally speaking, I edited all those costs charts for about five times. We put considerable efforts into our report; everyone was holding a good faith.

As what I mentioned before, everyone in our team did a good job overall. Nobody had unreasonable excuses for missing the meetings and everyone considered Target report as an important task. Although overall we did a good job, there is one thing that I think we could have done better. We did not split up our report into pats to everyone clearly at the beginning of the semester, so we did unequal work. Since we
