Do you believe only victims of cyberbullying suffer consequences? Or do the bullies suffer as well? When there is a situation involving a billy and a victim, there is sometimes a reason as to why that’s happening. Bullying is a two way street and it should be look at more in detail. In cyberbullying between teens, there seems to be an ongoing trend of who does it and the effects it has. An example of a trend in cyberbullying is, according to research, Gregg Macdonald says cyberbullying is “traditionally served for boys” but actually it’s the girls who are involved in it more. From the perspective of a bully, they seem to not care about the harm they’re doing to someone else, they do it for fun and really don’t think it through. Although, some bullies do it because they have personal problems themselves and try to hide their emotions so they go to making someone else feel the same way they feel. But even there, they don’t see it as anything serious. Now, in perspective of the victim, they are very affected by the harm they receive from someone else. Teens who go through situations like bullying try to avoid it as much as they can because sometimes it’s too overwhelming. They feel things no one else feels or understands which is a problems because often, people don’t believe them which makes things even worse. Lastly, from the perspective of a bystander, they can be slightly different. Some see it as nothing serious, others see it as something serious and then there’s the ones that don’t care at all because it doesn’t affect them. A bystander should always try and do something but a lot of times they don’t. If they do something, it makes a difference but if they don’t, they situation might just get worse which is a reason as to why more people should be aware of the effects of
