...you are not an individual, you are part of a collective unconscious. Your physical body 'dies,' it as if you were never born or never existed. You have no ego, no sense of self, you become energy - time and space have no meaning, you exist everywhere and are everything. 'I' was part of the big bang/beginning of the universe, watching existence unfold, billions of years passing by each second - yet each moment lasting more than a lifetime. Witnessing the Light separate from the darkness. Existing as all the atoms, simultaneously, from the beginning to the end of the universe - and understanding it is all cycle that is endlessly repeating. When you start to come back to 'your' body you are not even sure it the right one, it very well may not be. This physical realm now seems unfamiliar, foreign and long forgotten, far less real than where you were moments before. This physical body and it's senses are so cumbersome and distorted in comparison to the Truth. When you 'break through' your perception of this physical reality will be permanently changed, as you now realize it is a mere illusion, a facade. You have experienced things far more 'real' than anything your physical senses could ever provide. This is the ultimate worry that I have, that people potentially continue to treat their sensory perception as the total and true reality, never considering what lies beyond those senses. Imagine being every atom, existing everywhere simultaneously - perceiving all of...

...IRISH J. MILLANO ANGELA LEONOR M. MUTUC Researchers CLUSTER 1: APPLIED SCIENCE TEAM CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION Economic crisis runs throughout different places in the world. The Global Economic Crisis pulled countries down from around the globe to a recession. Wide-ranging declines in many aspects of growth characterize the overall impact it had on the global scale. This is the main reason why people tend to lessen the spend of money. To reduce spending, households had to buy cheaper goods, for example, instead of buying branded clothes; people tend to buy more affordable clothes. People also tend to lessen the electricity and water consumption. Another way is using charcoals instead of Liquefied Petroleum Gas or LPG in preparing or cooking their food. Almost all of us are aware of Global warming. It is the unusual increase in the Earth's surface temperature since describe the beginning of the 20th century. Scientists believe that this is caused by some human activities like illegal logging, deforestation, burning of garbage, fumes of factories, and smoke from vehicles, improper deposal of garbage and regular using of insecticides. The greenhouse effect is a vital natural process that prevents all of the sun's heat from simply reflecting back out into space. Continued deforestation will intensify the greenhouse effect, causing global warming. Charcoal is defined by the freedictionary.com as a black, porous, carbonaceous material, 85-95 percent carbon produced by burning...

...Media Studies - Textual Analysis Part A This advertisement circulated around 1953 for Del Monte Ketchup (Lars, 2009), or as Australian’s call it, tomato sauce. On first appearance this text screams sexist as it frames a well dressed woman of the aforementioned era with manicured nails, perfect make up, not a hair out of place, looking suitably surprised by a bottle of tomato sauce. The image is anchored by the words “You mean a woman can open it?” with the word “woman” underlined to suggest that women are the weaker sex and previously unable to open a bottle of sauce without the assistance of a man. (Tremblay & Tremblay, 2012) writes that this ad depicts women as technically unskilled or as sex objects. Within the frame of the advertisement is the ideology of the 1950’s woman, the text which anchors the ad and part of the bottle of sauce. This acts as a slight form of metonymy as part of the bottle represents the whole bottle, or, all the bottles of that particular brand of sauce. At the time this advertisement went to print the Del Monte logo at the top of the bottle was most likely recognised by that general demographic. There is nothing else within the frame of this advert, no husband to suggest this new sauce bottle is for anyone to use and no family in the background suggesting this is for the ‘kept woman’ who takes care of her man. Furthermore, we can’t see her posture but we can assume her posture is straight and confident by what we can see of her head, neck...

Flour, water and dried leaves are the main materials of the dried leaves charcoal. To make it. First, burn a three plastic bags of dried leaves until it turn into ashes. Then, put it on a container and put a half cup of water (depends o how many ashes). Put flour and mix it carefully after that mold it to any shape and get the blower or put it on a hot surface. After it dries. The charcoal is now ready to be used. The researchers found out that dried leaves charcoal is a good altervantive if the ordinary charcoal is not available. And both the charcoals produce same heat but don’t fire up at the same rate. But both of it can cook food, has the same color of fire and has any size. But you need many dried leaves charcoal to cook food. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT The success of the project is not possible without the support of the followig. ...Used Cooking Oil as an Additive Component of Candle | AbstractThe study aims to produce a low-priced, high-quality candle by using used cooking oil as a major component. The following candle compositions were used: 100 percent paraffin wax; 90 percent paraffin and 10 percent oil; 80 percent paraffin and 20 percent oil; 70 percent paraffin and 30 percent oil; 60 percent paraffin and 40 percent oil; 50 percent paraffin and 50 percent oil. The firmness, texture, and light intensity of the candles were tested and compared. Results of the tests showed that the candle made from 100 percent paraffin wax had the lowest melting rate, lowest amount of melted candle, and a light intensity of 100 candelas (cd). The 90:10 preparation had the next lowest melting rate and amount of melted candle. The other preparations ranked according to the proportion of used cooking oil in the candle, with the 50:50 preparation performing least comparably with the 100 percent paraffin wax candle.IntroductionToday, candles are made not only for lighting purposes but for many other uses such as home décor, novelty collections, as fixtures for big occasions (weddings, baptismals, etc.), and as scented varieties for aromatherapy. Candles are made from different types of waxes and oils.Cooking oil is a major kitchen item in Filipino households. It is also used substantially in fast-food outlets, where it is used in different stages of food preparations. Ordinarily, used cooking oil is discarded. This waste...

Conclusion 18.Acknowledgments 19.Bibliography Introduction The people of France consider cooking a fine art. A French saying describes the attitude of French cooks toward their art: “ L’excès en tout est défaut “ —“excess is always a fault.” In other words, you can have too much of a good thing. French cooks use strong flavors, such as garlic, in small amounts so that they will not overpower other flavors. In fact, the most important rule in French cooking is not to use too much of any one ingredient. History of French Cooking Hundreds of years ago, the chefs who worked for the kings and queens of France developed haute or grande cuisine. This kind of cooking featured huge, complicated meals that took hours of preparation and often included unusual ingredients such as rare wines and exotic fruits. When the French nobility was overthrown in the 1789 French Revolution, the chefs who had developed haute cuisine fled to other parts of Europe. The art of this fine cooking, however, was not lost. The French chefs spread its fame throughout Europe and even to the United States. This very special and...

...this during their study period. It helps them to get free from dependency on college mess. They need not to stick to college timings to care for food. They can have any food at any time of their own choice. Cost Savings: As microfridge is cheap and can be used for multiple purposes so they are having cost savings as compared to purchasing separate fridge and oven. Also they can have food own their own without fear of fire and also allows safe cooking in the student’s room. Time Savings: As students have to move to college mess for food and wait in queue for their turn, all they have to do is put food in oven and utilize the time till food is ready for some other useful purpose. Lesser worry :Parents have no worry about their children when they are away like whether they have had food or not and what quality of food they are having as they knew that they can have packed food and get it warm at any time. At same time parents are free from thinking their child got hurt/caught using hot plates. For college authority. There is decreased loss of life and property: Fires due to hot plates are high in numbers which causes loss of life and property whereas in case of microfridge there is no such case. Cost Savings: As cost of operation of microfridge is lesser as compared to hotplates, electricity consumption is lesser so there are cost...

...East, then the Far East and Europe” (Diamond 1992: 37). Biological evolution continued in the way of increased brain size and more rounded skulls, one step closer to anatomically modern humans (Diamond 1992). Brain size was increasing, but how? An analysis of our genome and that of a chimp showed that there are differences in the non-coding regions that control the expression of genes by turning them on and off or by “cranking the volume” (Fischman 2011). Distinct differences between humans and chimps, such as brain size, must be caused by a distinct difference in the non-coding region of the genome. Upon examination, it was found that a non-coding region near a tumor suppression gene that was present in chimps was not present in modern humans or in Neanderthals, who also were big-brained. This gene is responsible for suppressing tumors in the brain during the lifetime of an individual, but it has been shown that in the womb the gene...

...for the full-time force of fire fighters. The problem raised in the case study is the need to develop a plan for how the fire fighters will prepare meals, purchase food, and share food costs, as it is the first time for the city council to transition to a force of full-time, paid fire fighters who will serve the small town of Pickering, Ohio. Based on the findings of the research, it was held that a healthy diet is very important for fire fighters because they are constantly exposed to stress and life-threatening conditions. Among the alternative solutions listed in the report, it was the option of hiring an in-house chef and kitchen staff (at least two members) who will be tasked to purchase the right food products and prepare all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for the fire fighters will help save costs on the meal budget for the entire team. Analytical Report: Food Purchase, Preparation, and Cost Sharing for the Ohio Fire Fighters Introduction Similar to the role of the military, the country’s line up of public safety professionals known as the fire fighters, serve the country with integrity, honor, and commitment. In fact, the fire fighters of the country may be considered as modern-day heroes who continuously risk their lives in order to perform their difficult life-saving jobs (Military.com, 2013; SAFE, 2012). In terms of classification, the fire fighting service may be considered...
