For the Professional Development unit group I worked in the team installation and curation. I chose this team because I would like to get experience on how Curation and installation works. I wanted to get a sense of what this job involves. Everyone contributed well. I felt the group listened and communicated well. I felt I had worked well within the team because I had contributed well because. Tasks were identified in the group meetings and jobs that needed to be done were communicated with each another in the group. I also invigilated at the Lancaster vaults. I greeted the public as they went to see the exhibition in these vaults. In the first year I helped invidulate at the Undercoft Vault so I had some knowledge on what needs to be done. My job included keeping a tally chart on who came in through the doors and people who were leaving. For the future this may help if I get a job in a gallery. In terms of time and reliability I thought my punctuality was good, and I was always helping. I was reliable and willing to help. I was enthusiastic about the preparation of the exhibition. I helped with the cleaning such as mopping the floors and sweep the dust in the corners of the room and the small tasks that need to be done. The skills I have developed were working in a team to get everything sorted. I learned how to hang and put work up on a wall. At first I wanted to hang my work up with pins but instead used the material, Velcro. I wasn't expecting to use Velcro because I had never thought about it. Expected this would happen because some individuals have more then one work. Now I do know what will be coming on preparing the degree show. This unit has given me experience on the skills I would need in the future. This would also look great on my CV because I developed important skills. This was not expected that I would learn so many skills and gain knowledge. Next time if I approach this situation I would be more confident in working as a
