Introduction:
The Ton’Tuk’Tun clan was a nomadic clan that focused mainly on war and battling other tribes. They revolved their lives around one fact - that the real, better world existed after death and it was the duty of these people to send others to this world, which was depicted by numerous pictures found by archaeologists. Thus, they went to war very often and took no prisoners. Another popular carving topic was their creation story. In the beginning, it was said that three camellias sprouted out of the ground and the original Ton’Tuk’Tun people, a man and a woman from each plant, came out, and thus the three clans, Ulaba’Tun, Guaba’Tun, and Won’ton’Tun, were created. Each clan represented an animal, and had their own ways of contributing to the Ton’Tuk’Tun tribe.

The young men and warriors were in charge of collecting large branches while the women collected leaves and moss to create covering for the roof. With these, they would create lean-to style shelters. They would find long branches, or fallen trees, and lay branches across them. Afterwards, they would layer it with leaves and moss for a waterproof effect. They would also line the floor of the shelter with soft moss and leaves for comfort. The Ton’Tuk’Tun people would then start a little fire near their tent; and it wasn’t uncommon that two or three tents shared a fire. The fire provided warmth during the winter, cooking meals, and also protected them from large animals getting too close. They would sometimes throw in fragrant herbs or flowers to repel insects and mosquitoes. When the Ton’Tuk’Tun tribe needed to move on, they would disassemble the tents quickly, and thank Alimen’Tun, god of animals and nature, for the resources that he provided for their shelter and
