Persuasive Letter Mba

I want to start this letter by saying I am not a racist or a bigot. I do not hate the Negro. I find a lot of them to be endearing and very hard working individuals. For that they have earned my upmost respect. I believe in fair and I believe that the Negro should be treated fairly in our society. After all the Constitution protects us all and Negro are American citizens just like anyone else. As such I do not condone the hate or violence that some in our society want to place on others. With that being said I am not happy with the integration of baseball. I have been a Dodger season ticket holder for over five years I have come to the games and patronized. As such I think this integration is just flat our wrong. Here are my reasons for feeling this way.
There is no need for integration when there is already a Negro Baseball league. If Negros want to watch, play and patronize the game then all they have to do is watch the Negro baseball league. Now if there needs to be better conditions to that league I am all for it, but let’s keep things separate. This does not come from a place of hate but one that understands the nature of men. This brings to me to my next point. …show more content…
Can you imagine when Mr. Robinson walks onto the mound the vitriolic language he will hear? How about the death threats and overall violence he will experience. How in the world could integration be even a consideration concerning this. Our country has had a long history with racial issue. The white man is a prideful man, and he is a leader for all others to follow. By integrating the game of baseball you debase this standard and bring people into their fears which will begat hate? Again I write this not as someone who would hate Mr. Robinson but a person who cares for all humans

Interview Questions

...INTERVIEW QUESTIONS & TECHNIQUES Collected by MBA Dept General Advice Before you go for your interview you need to find out everything you can about the company. Reread your application/CV/covering letter, so that you can think about your skills and qualifications, and also questions that you might be asked. In order to do well in the interview you need to be able to convince the interviewer that you have the right skills for the job, this will include your motivation towards the job, how well you will fit into the company, along with meeting their academic and skills requirements. You should dress smartly and appropriately and should leave in plenty of time allowing for possible delays, so that you are not late. Remember first impressions last! Tips It's a good idea to ask for a glass of water, as you will be doing a lot of talking, but it’s also good to take a sip if you want a few seconds to think about the question asked. • Ensure that you are sitting comfortably in a position where you can address all the interviewers. • Make sure that you remember the names of the interviewers, and take note of their various roles. First Impressions Most people make an initial opinion of a stranger within the first five minutes of meeting them. According to research employers' impressions are made up of the following: Body Language and image (70%) Tone of voice (20%) What you say (10%) As soon as you enter the building you need to be polite to everyone...

Interview Preparation

...INTERVIEW PREPARATION Introduction The interview is one of the most important phases of the job search process. Your resume and cover letter are simply tools to get you to the interviewing stage of the process. Keep in mind that employers don’t tend to interview candidates they don’t feel are qualified for the job. Therefore, once you have made it past the initial screening, it’s your opportunity to convince an employer, using your powers of persuasion and communication skills, that you are the right person for the job. Before the Interview RESEARCH IS CRITICAL! The applicant who has worked hard to prepare is much more likely to get a call back for a second interview or an offer of employment. Prior to an interview, clarify the skills and abilities you have to offer an employer, thinking of an example for each one. Research the career field/position you are pursuing to convince yourself this is an occupation you would enjoy (it’s much easier to convince a potential employer once you’ve convinced yourself). Conduct thorough research on the organization, developing a checklist of information based on your research to share with the interviewer during the interview. The three key points to remember: 1. 2. 3. Know yourself Know your resume Know the company/industry Preparation enhances your self-confidence, reduces anxiety, and provides the synthesis to focus on how your qualifications match the organization’s needs. RESEARCHING YOURSELF 1. 2. 3. Think back on your previous...
