Both men had success and failures that shaped their business into the successful company’s they are today. Michael Dell tried a new approach to his business that he quickly saw was a failure. He realized that the approach he currently uses is the most successful for his company. Andy Grove made his company successful twice. While in the memory business he had 100 percent of the market share. He learned a hard lesson when his company was pushed out of its market share by competitors.
