...Introduction on Enrollment System Sample Introduction Background of the study the enrollment system we have proposed and proposing is for the school named “Marisyl School” which was the school that is privately owned and privately managed but then, the enrollment system on the said school is still in manual. And we have learned from addressing some surveys and random interviews around the school premises that, the manual enrollment system was too slow and too difficult for the school to manage at the reason of lacking in faculty members who are knowledgeable enough on handling and managing such large manual files, records and folders. CHAPTER I BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY AND ITS SETTINGS 1.1. Introduction Computerization is a control system that manages processes in industrial workplace. It reduced human errors and processing time, thus it can boost productivity and resulted into high quality of product produce. In Information System, computerization is concerned about interrelating different but interdependent transactions. This can result in a system with well-integrated processes that can perform much faster and more accurate than a manual system. Enrollment is the process of entering and verifying data of student to register on a particular school. Different interrelated processes build up enrollment procedures called Enrollment System (ES). ES are used particularly in recording and retrieving student’s information. Tracking student’s information is...

... 1. INTRODUCTION Telecom Connections is a web based application through which user can effectively use the benefits of Telephone Provider. We have analyzed the needs of the users, and thus developed a web based application, for providing telephone connections and associated services online. Because now a days people became so busy with their work and they don’t want to waste their time by going and waiting for long time or waiting in a queue for applying for new connections or to get their bills or to give the complaints regarding the service. Also they are not sure whether waiting for that much time , they will get their turn or not. If so they will get out with frustration .By considering all this issues associated with the manual process we have developed a web application for the telecom users , where in the user can apply for new connections online , can view the bill status online , can send the feedback and do complaints regarding the service provided by the telecom company. 1. PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: We are going to build an automated system where user can online apply for phone connections and they can view their telephone bills and they can also post the complaints details. EXISTING SYSTEM AND PROPOSED SYSTEM 2. EXISTING SYSTEM AND PROPOSED SYSTEM 2.1 PROBLEMS EXISTING IN SYSTEM: In existing system user has no option of online. He has to go to telecom office to perform any...

Chen | |Department of Electrical Engineering | |National University of Singapore | |10 Kent Ridge Crescent, Singapore 117576 | |E-mail: elekocc@nus.edu.sg | Abstract VLAB, a pilot web-based virtual laboratory on an oscilloscope experiment has been developed and launched for over 1000 first year undergraduate engineering students in the Faculty of Engineering in NUS (National University of Singapore). Rather than simulating the oscilloscope display on the client as is often done in other virtual laboratories, the system uses real-time video capture of the actual oscilloscope's display. In addition, the use of the mouse to turn the control buttons and knobs of the instrument has been implemented so that a more realistic feel of...

...in Automated Test Generation for Web Applications Amin Milani Fard Mehdi Mirzaaghaei University of British Columbia Vancouver, BC, Canada Ali Mesbah {aminmf, mehdi, amesbah}@ece.ubc.ca ABSTRACT To test web applications, developers currently write test cases in frameworks such as Selenium. On the other hand, most web test generation techniques rely on a crawler to explore the dynamic states of the application. The first approach requires much manual effort, but benefits from the domain knowledge of the developer writing the test cases. The second one is automated and systematic, but lacks the domain knowledge required to be as effective. We believe combining the two can be advantageous. In this paper, we propose to (1) mine the human knowledge present in the form of input values, event sequences, and assertions, in the human-written test suites, (2) combine that inferred knowledge with the power of automated crawling, and (3) extend the test suite for uncovered/unchecked portions of the web application under test. Our approach is implemented in a tool called Testilizer. An evaluation of our approach indicates that Testilizer (1) outperforms a random test generator, and (2) on average, can generate test suites with improvements of up to 150% in fault detection rate and up to 30% in code coverage, compared to the original test suite. these interactions at runtime is manifested through the Document Object Model (DOM) and presented to the end-user in the browser. To avoid dealing...

...provides critical information about the condition of products, such as whether you are low on stock and your inventory needs to be replenished. Doing inventory via manual recording is not only time-consuming but is also less accurate in producing results thus, the development of Automated Inventory Systems. Automated systems can replace the cost and time consuming processes that were once completed by hand while providing companies with more accurate data. Inventory Management System has proven to be of great importance in the development and inward progress of many organizations. The development of Automated Inventory Systems has evolved from desktop-based networked applications to web-based applications. Having it web-based minimized the cost of operations and enables users to access the system anytime and anywhere. It also enables several more limited users to view availability of products without the need to go to the establishments. Several inventory systems have been developed to cater needs of respective organizations like academic institutions. Inventory systems in such an institution are important because facilities play vital role in education and tracking these is important to avoid loss thus minimizing the expenses in procuring lost materials. These proprietary inventory systems, web-based or desktop-based, are pre-designed software systems that contains modules often not used in the customers flow of operation but are considered in the metrics and seldom time could...
