To Ms. Pullum & Ms. Longmire, I am writing to express my interest in the open position of Teacher Assistant and Special Education Classroom Assistant. After spending a year at the Dulles School of Excellence as a City Year, I have seen that students are more likely to thrive in a space where trust & empathy is provided. Because I naturally possess these traits, students will have an easier time trusting and listening to me; making instructional time run smoothly. Students will be able to retain more information which will produce improvement in grades and test scores. Therefore, this will make me an asset to the Dulles team. I have developed the most effective lesson plans through observing my focus list students
