John last argument is how the lines between reality and fantasy are blurred as the volence in the video games become more realistic. The sounds of the screams, the gun, and even the wounds look realistic. John express his concern, that these details help slowly erase our children sympathy. Video games used to Target gangsters and aliens, but are now giving our children points for killing innocent people such as elderly, school children, and any innocent bistanders. John also expresses his concern about video games are now turning deadly aggression towards law enforcement He also points out how the shooter is no longer a hero.
