They work at Aero Communications in Canton, Michigan and work in the accounting department. My mom is more in the billing department, but Nadine is an accounting assistant. This job is a full time job (M-F 8-4:30) and the dress code is businesses casual, which must be nice to work in.
There is some training required to apply for this job. You must have some experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook and know accounting terms. While on the job, you must be able to post cash and payments, call customers, and work with the billing department on issues. You must also be the accounts receivable coordinator.

Essay On Job Shadowing

...For my career development research project I decided to shadow Candice Jackson (College of Charleston Women’s Basketball Head Coach), Amanda Taylor (Athletic Trainer for Women’s Basketball at the College of Charleston), and Marc Pronto (Strength and Conditioning Coach for both Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams at the College of Charleston). I selected job shadowing because it is a very useful activity that allows a person to explore a career that they are interested in by spending time with a professional working in that field. It provided me more insight rather than just reading a job description or even asking an employee to describe what they do. While job shadowing, I was able to ask questions and experience the trials, triumphs, and normal day-to-day activities that Marc Pronto, Candice Jackson, and Amanda Taylor might experience while working in their jobs. I was able to experience how the professional approaches the job, the necessary social cooperation, standard operating procedures, and the tools that I need in order to perform the job successfully. Normally, job shadowing usually lasts only a day, but in...

Dental Hygienist Personal Statement

...I would like to sincerely thank the Admissions board for suggesting experience in at least job shadowing before deciding to apply to the prestigious Dental Hygiene program. Although I have always been quite certain of my career path in the dental field, job shadowing several offices and hygienists made me seal the deal on pursing my goals. While the time I spent in the dentist offices made me realize my path was on the right course, it also lit a fire inside of me. I was so eager for the new semester to start at Southeastern just so I could finish my prerequisites and apply to LSUDHS and start my career of being a dental hygienist myself. From my previous experience with dental work such as orthodontics, I learned first hand the amount of confidence a beautiful smile can bring someone. Improving the health and lives of others, in my opinion, is the most rewarding part of being a dental hygienist....

Personal Narrative: My Job Shadowing At Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic

...I had an opportunity to job shadow at Kryder Veterinary Clinic and Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic. This was a great way for me to see first hand what my career as a Vet Tech would be like. I got to see dental procedures, water therapy, medication protocols, and many other interesting things that pertain to being a Vet Tech. My first day of shadowing was at Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic. I was introduced to staff and given a tour of the clinic. Once we finished the tour of the clinic I was shown the exam rooms and they explained to me which types of animals normally go into which room. They had a cat room, small dog room, large dog room, a euthanasia room, and a couple other rooms for the busy days. The euthanasia room was set up differently from all the other rooms. It was more comforting and had room for families...

Job Shadowing

...Job Shadow Student Reflection Essay Job Shadow Experience Essay For my job shadow I chose my orthodontist Dr. Barinaga because he is the person that would give me good hands on experience on the path to becoming an orthodontist. The job shadow site was very clean with a friendly atmosphere looked like I was in a house. Dr. Barinaga is people person he is very kind hearted and is friendly to all his patients he is a hard worker always adjusting the braces for all his patients that come in, and also filling out a lot of paperwork for his patients, he also helps out around the work site to see if any of his assistants need help. What I liked most about job shadowing Dr. Barinaga was that I got the opportunity to see how he puts braces on a patient’s teeth and also how he removes. the braces. I also got the chance to be in the lab room where they create molded teeth models of their patients and use the models and this machine that heats up a plastic disk then they put it over the teeth model to create plastic retainers for their patients. During the job shadow I didn’t find to dislike anything about the experience, it was great learning experience for me I really appreciate Dr. Barinaga for giving me the chance to observe and job shadow him in action this gave a lot of knowledge of what to expect when becoming an orthodontist in the future. What surprised me the most while job shadowing Dr. Barinaga was that all his assistants were women, but they are all really nice and outgoing...

Personal Narrative: My Senior Experience

...The Senior Experience was a very remarkable and learning experience. The obstacles I was faced was very challenging. My first question was who was I going to choose as my advisor. Someone that was honest and strict, the reason I wanted someone strict is so I was determined to get the job done. Mr. Bobby McDonald is the colonel of JROTC. Personal Narrative: My Job Shadowing A Dental Hygienist

...For my job shadowing I chose to job shadow a dental hygienist. My job shadow took place at Always Gentle Dental in Dearborn. I learned a lot from this experience it was very valuable and educational. Always Gentle Dental is a very quiet and friendly facility. The typical work day and specific skills that are required for being a dental hygienist are taking x-rays, cleaning, and taking notes of the patient’s teeth. The tasks seemed fairly easy there is not much labor involved. I really enjoyed my job shadow experience, but overall I what I liked the most about my job shadow was that everyone was very friendly and helpful; they answered all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Personal Narrative: Dr. Al-Shroof As An Internist

...When I began volunteering as a teen at Houston Medical Center in the maternity ward, admissions, ER and the ICU, my duties included assisting patients with admissions and discharge, stocking supplies, comforting patients during delivery, and moving patients to various parts of the hospital. When I was not directly assisting the staff, I served as a liaison between the busy staff and visitors. This volunteering experience taught me that compassion, positive attitude, teamwork, and, most importantly, the willingness to help others are key aspects involved in providing an effective medical care. While shadowing Dr. Al-Shroof, an Internist, I had the opportunity to see a wide range of patterns and treatment modalities ranging from long-term pain...

Essay On Career Shadowing

...books, The Recruiting Snitch, Career Mapping, and specific chapters in This is Who We Hire, I never contemplated finding job employment in such detailed steps. These books aided me in learning techniques to help in informational interviews, shadowing, networking, and resume writing. They will further help me during the interview process for internships and future employment. As a part time student at UCF, my plan is to complete the pre-requisite courses and the Primary Business classes needed in order to be admitted into a specific business major in the College of Business. I plan to continue informational interviews, shadowing, and expanding network contacts through social media and direct outreach. I will develop a preliminary draft of my resume and have it reviewed by various sources. I will contact, meet personally, and send out resumes to companies of interest to secure an internship. I will continue reviewing companies of interest, so that at the appropriate time, I can send a personal letter, email and/or call until securing employment. I have two pre-requisites and five Primary Business Core classes remaining before requesting admissions to a specific business major. I plan on taking one class this summer and two or...

Army

... Career shadowing        On November 5, 2012 I did my career shadowing at the United States Army Station. Sergeant Escobar is the person that I got to watch work, and I also got to interview him. I got the chance  to find out so much about him such as, his favorite things and least favorite things about his  job. The reason why I chose to do this project on sergeant Escobar is because I am joining the  army right after high school and he is my recruiter. Another reason why I choose the army is  because it is a fun and it is just a happy environment to be around. I really did have a great  time with this experiment.      One of the experiences I got to see sergeant Escobar do was a presentation to high school  students who wants to join the army; he of course did a fantastic job on telling his story on why  he joined the military and what his jobs are. He also did great on explaining the things you  need to have and what you need to do to join the army. While he was doing his presentation to  the students he was not boring at all he had all the teenagers attention the whole time which is  really a great thing. He gets a lot of teenagers in the army because he is young his self so he  can relate and talk with the seniors in high school.      Another thing I got to see about Escobar is how much he loves his job. When his boss tells ...

...I went to Promedica Monroe Reginal Hospital for my job shadow. The job shadow host name was Heather Fleemon. The career I job shadowed was a pediatric nurse. She makes sure that the rooms are stocked for incoming patients. She works from peds to trauma, but mostly pediatric. When she have problems, she turns to her fellow co-worker that works in the same department with her, or she asks the other doctors and nurses that are stationed on her floor. She works inside of a hospital where all they wear are scrubs and they are not allowed to wear visible tattoos. There was not a lot of activities going on because it was early in the morning, but when there was, a man came in with a stomach virus and they have to hurry and treat them. Also, there was a baby with a diaper rash and they prescribed him a cream for it. It was not very exciting. The nurses literally sit...

Juvenile Court Observation Paper

...This project was an extremely rewarding experience! It provided a lot of information I had never thought about within the court system, especially pertaining to juveniles. To conduct my research on the topic of juveniles and the juvenile court system, I was allowed to shadow a public defender in court. I was also able to have discussions with multiple public defenders, apart from the one I was shadowing. Following the shadow experience, I conducted interviews with a public defender and prosecutor to see both sides of the juvenile court. This allowed me to ask more in-depth questions about things I saw or caught my attention in court. Overall, I learned a lot about the court process and what goes into being a public defender and prosecutor....

My Emt Experience

...My path to medicine doesn’t follow a typical route. It wasn’t until I was 25 that I found my passion for medicine. Shortly before then, I had emigrated from Australia to the United States. I saw this move as an opportunity to leave my first career, which was in banking, behind. I knew for a few years prior that banking just wasn’t for me. While I liked helping people achieve their goals, financial goals seemed rather shallow. After all, there’s only so many houses, cars, boats, etc. that somebody can enjoy. I wanted to help people in a way that was more personally fulfilling, so I decided to train as an EMT shortly after I immigrated. I saw EMT training as a pathway to help people in what’s often a time of their greatest need. However, it wasn’t...

Reflect and Evaluate Development Opportunities to Meet Your Current and Future Defined Needs.

...evaluate development opportunities to meet your current and future defined needs. During the last activity I identified the need for improving my Business Writing skills, report writing, Presentation skills & problem solving and decision making skills. I believe goal setting would be one of the key development opportunities and a good starting point. Initially I will focus on what I want to achieve for example from the courses that I will attend and any job role changes or shadowing opportunities. Ensuring the goals I have set, built up on my skills and are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time targeted (S.M.A.R.T) – this is what is currently used with in my organisation to set any goals/ development for individuals. To improve my Business/report writing skills I believe initially I should take advantage of the courses that are available through my companies learning and development team, the report writing course will provide me with the necessary skills to produce an accepted, flowing text quickly and easily, ensuring that I use reader friendly language, write in a way to produce a positive notion and choose suitable method & pitch. By attending this course I can also take advantage of networking opportunities as a number of individuals from various areas of industry/ business with different skills and experience would be attending the course. (This provides opportunity to allow individuals to review each others work and provide feedback in future). However...

Job Shadowing Exercises

...On December 3rd, I got the privilege to job shadow my business teacher/assistant activities director: Mrs. Staggs. I job shadowed her on the season opening basketball game versus the Broken Bow Indians. It was a very exciting game and a lot of people were there since this was the start of a new season. I started job shadowing her during the boys and girls JV games. She was very excited I asked her if I could job shadow her. As an activities director, some of the responsibilities include: finding referees for the game, making sure you have people working the admission table and the concession stand. You are also responsible for making sure the gyms are set up and ready to go by game time. Since there were two gyms that needed set up, it was going to take a little more time.
